With the windows closed it was very quite and our view was very good, looking over the old town, brassieres all around so many to choose from, the hotel is very good, but not sure if it warranted the full 4 stars the breakfast was poor, and it is not geared up for meals, it is just a bed and...

Awesome location and friendly staff that make you feel so good in the hotel. Rooms are renovated and good designed but too small. A good experience in the city and best location and fair prices. I will be back

We stayed at the Hotel de Normandie for four nights in September 2016. We booked the superior room, which was so roomy: the closet space was enormous, very comfortable beds and a fabulous bathroom with a bath and separate shower. The hotel is in a perfect location, just off the main square of the Opera House, directly across from the...

The hotel is centrally located, walking distance to the opera building which is basically the heart of the city. It is an impressive building with high ceilings. Also quiet considering it is facing a busy street. I found the rooms to be comfortableand clean but lacking style and soul. If you are looking for some place chic, this is not...

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious, very current, everything worked. The breakfast was very good as well, great location to get to most things by foot. Definitely would recommend.

A family of 5 (2 children over 20 and 1 teenager), we stayed here for 1 night in August at the start of a cycling trip. Very comfortable, clean and well-furnished rooms, good location near the Grand Theatre-very convenient for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants nearby but quiet. very good breakfast too. On arrival we were given our rooms early as...

This hotel is well situated to enjoy the many sights Bordeaux has to offer. Wherever you want to go, you aren't far. I can see the tourist office from my window and buses, walking tours and trams all depart from here. Comfortable and quiet.

Nice hotel. The tourism office is just across the team tracks. You can get info and book tours there. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. There is also a large historical fountain nearby. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was not cheap but they were very good about making eggs the way my sister wanted them. The elevator was small for our...

The LOCATION of Hotel de Normandie is EXCELLENT. It is situated on a quiet corner "behind" a lively, "up-market" square near shops, cafes, etc. in a perfect location just opposite the Tourist Info, central Tram "station", Bordeaux WINE school and so forth. ROOMS in this dignified building are comfortable and "modern" and etc. and the price is "competetive" for such...

Very central, but quiet location.Close to both the tram lines and the tourist office. Excellent service when booking and at reception. Staff spoke excellent English. Check out is 12 noon. Reasonable size rooms, but beware the step up to the bathroom. Car park nearby, but valet parking not available. Quiet lounge area for relaxing.
