We stayed three nights here in a small but comfortable suite. A little guirky, but that added to the charm. We really appreciated the location, right at the edge of the old centre of the city. Walked to everything wonderful! Having the kitchenette was a bonus. We were able to get food for simple meals from Monoprix right around the... More

This hotel is perfect. Small, smart, comfortable, well-positioned; it has it all. The rooms are spacious and ours had a balcony with lovely view. Friendly, relaxed staff and the hotel is reasonably priced. We'll definitely be going back.

We asked about the history of the building and was told it was inhabited by a Cardinal, then a doctor and 6 years ago converted into a hotel. The intimate courtyard has chairs and coffee/wine tables; a wine store faces the lobby, about 10 feet between. Perfect for an evening glass of wine. Very secure at night when they close... More

We come regularly to Bordeaux since 3 years. We tried minimum 10 different hotels before we were lucky to book l'hotel Particulier. The rooms are individually arranged with a lot of taste and charm. The service is always excellent and very familiar. We are always happy to come back!!

We LOVED this hotel. I loved that they were in contact via email before our arrival to welcome us and assist with parking locations. On arrival we realised what a great find this boutique hotel really was - Great location - (could be for some, a little tricky to negotiate the drive here if you are not familiar with French... We visited Bordeaux recently to attend a four day wedding celebration. We didn't want to stay in a large hotel, but a more bijoux establishment, and after reading the reviews of this hotel, decided that this was the one for us. The location was so perfect, out the door, turn left, and you are in the pedestrian route to the... More

The hotel is near the St Andre Cathedral and within easy walking distance of the centre and several tram routes, the B route being on the same road as the hotel. Very easy to get to (and from) the airport with a 5 minute walk across to the Musee des Beaux Arts for the Ligne 1+ bus on Cours d'Albret.... More

Spent two nights in the hotel. Great location Handy to the shops and tourist attractions. Staff were friendly and we liked the room. It wasn't noisy either considering it's location. My husband found the bed a bit uncomfortable but all in all cannot fault it.

The hotel is small and very French, but you are in France. The room we stayed in was very nice with comfortable beds, clean and nicely furnished. The staff all spoke English and were very helpful with taxis etc. Breakfast is good. The main benefit of staying here is the location which is very central, with a tram stop over... More

My wife and I stayed here when we visited Bordeaux for a couple of nights. It is in the pedestrian area of Bordeaux which is what we wanted but you need to therefore walk to it with your suitcases (so don't stay here if that's an issue for you). We were greeted by very friendly staff who helped us with... More
