This is a typical Ibis. Rooms are functional, as is the rest of the hotel. What sets this hotel apart is the quietness, (windows in rooms quadruple glazed. Two doors between the bed and the corridor!). The place is spotlessly clean. The staff very friendly. The tram and buses stop very close to the hotel. A great option if you... More

This hotel is fairly central so from a situation point of view it's good. Obviously the first and last point of contact is the reception - and sadly I found the reception staff not very warm, welcoming or helpful. The rooms were clean and simple - but they felt tired.

The only good point about this hotel is its location; right in the center of the city, next to the city hall. You can walk almost everywhere. Apart from the location, this hotel is really depressing: rooms without any charm, feels like a students' dorm, minimal facilities, no personal experience. The management simply does not understand what running a hotel... More

The hotel was situated conveniently near a venue I was visiting, and had excellent transport links from the airport, with the Liane +1 bus only a short walk from the hotel, which also only cost 1.5 euro's if you are prepared to go through the suburbs. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and offered me a choice of rooms,... More

I Stayed for 1 night and the Ibis Meriadeck and found it functional. You pay for what you get so room was small but on the positive side had a comfortable double bed. Pillows were large and there are spare ones available of different sizes. Found the Bathroom very basic and the shower pressure was low. Wi-fi I found slow.... More

I stayed at this hotel for a conference and it was clean and adequate. The location is good: on a direct bus line from both the train station and the airport, and at a tram stop, but I was able to walk everywhere around the historical center. My room was basic but clean (though overheated). Wi-Fi is slow; breakfast is... More

The hotel is average in everything. My room was dark but I asked for a quiet room, no complain about that, but I had the worst bathroom ever in a hotel. I am not very lucky with the Ibis in France, I find they are much better in Austria. The location is good, not far from the center, wi-fi was... More

We would have liked a little boutique hotel, but weren't able to find one. We chose Ibis, because you know what you get, and you're sure of a certain standard. Nothing fancy; but very reasonable comparing to the price. There are several Ibis hotels in Bordeaux, but if you are on holiday, we would definitely recommend you to choose this... More
