Just back from a nice 3 night stay. The good out ways the bad. Excellent and helpful staff. Fantastic selection for breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Had to move room when we got into room. Horrific smell from the toilet when we arrived despite windows being open. Smelt like sewerage. Safe instructions do not make sense. Moved to another room. The beds are comfortable but the room decor is very dated and dull and dark. Dreadful drab mustard/orange colour. Location is a bit away from everytime but the tram is a 15 minute walk. Very little in the area but there is a great little Italian pizza place on corner. Well worth a visit A good trip but definitely not a 4 star hotel.

We stayed here as part of a group tour. Rooms were a nice size, clean, and comfortable. AC was not functioning during our stay in late September so the room was a bit stuffy. Rooms have a coffee marker, safe, minibar, and free WiFi. There is underground parking and a fitness center. Unfortunately, if you are interested in being close to the city center, you may want to look elsewhere. Plan on a good half hour to walk downtown or go to the tram stop which is about 10 minutes from the hotel. Staff at the hotel said that it would be a 15 minute drive to the very center of Bordeaux. There is not a lot in the immediate area of the hotel but we did find a small restaurant a short distance away.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Rooms are a good size with bath and shower, plus separate toilet (although no possibility of washing hands if someone is using the bathroom at the same time). It’s a good 20/30 minute walk into the centre, or 10 minutes to the tram into the centre, so be aware you’ll do lots of walking. Breakfast is until 10am, however we arrived at 9.40 to find all food being cleared away, and being told to take what we wanted quickly. It is the most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen where you sit in a hotel restaurant at 9.55 still within breakfast times, and the only thing you have is access to a coffee machine !

This hotel is not in the city center. The center is, however, easily accessible via bus #4, or the tram lines B and C (10 minute walk). The facilities are standard Mercure. Our room was extremely quiet. Good value for the price. I would return.

Stayed here with our group and really enjoyed the hotel (2 nights). Our room was a good size with all the amenities and view over the courtyard. Everything here was clean and tidy confirming it was well kept and maintained. The court yard is outside the bar & restaurant area so we did have an opportunity to relax with wine & beer. Surprise, the drinks were the lowest cost this trip. The breakfasts buffet were among the best we have experienced on the trip.
