Agree with the recent reviews. Extraordinary quiet considering it's position, completely silent in the room with the soundproofed windows. Parking outside & unloading luggage outside is tricky. Not an hotel for the disabled as the lift is minute & probably can not accomodate a wheel chair. Staff helpful. Breakfast the only meal available. Possible to buy refreshments from Reception. The area...

The location is close to the railway station and bus terminus and although this is very handy, the surrounding area is a bit dodgy after dark. Next door is a particularly worrying restaurant. Heaven knows what was going on in there! The staff are friendly and efficient but the hotel is old - the lift and staircases are museum pieces...

Excelent quality/price relation. The location is good, it's near the historical centre (wich is small) in comparison to other French cities and it's almost in front of the train station. It's a good option when passing by Bayonne.

I wasn't expecting much from a 2-star hotel near the railway station and was pleasantly surprised at the size, cleanliness and comfort level of my room. The hotel is very convenient for the station and shuttle bus to the airport, has lots of good restaurants in the area, and is a short walk across the river to the old town...

We stayed for two nights in July. Our first problem was parking. There are paying car parks nearby, but we were directed by helpful staff to an area of free parking. Unfortunately this was some distance from the hotel, difficult with luggage. The hotel itself is old fashioned but has a certain charm because of that. The minute lift (just...

Nice hotel for a one-night stand in a road trip. Clean and comfortable, no luxury. Exactly what you would expect for 40 eur. Breakfast is optional (10 eur), and I really cannot comment because we had it elsewhere.

The location is excellent if you are in between trains. And, there are a couple of really good small restaurants adjacent with excellent food. However, this is a basic, old hotel, so don't expect much. It is a overpriced for what you get. When the city trash collectors visited at night, I thought a gang hit was going on. Later,...

I stayed two nights at Hotel Côte Basque travelling alone. It was very clean, safe, a nice modern room, well located right near the train station and a short stroll over the bridge into town. The staff were friendly and helpful, there was a good breakfast and I booked at a special rate which was outstanding value. I felt very...

Our room on the 4th floor was charming and a good size; however there is no A/C and it faced rue Muebec so it was hot and very loud at night when trying to sleep. That being said, the staff were really nice and the location not bad. I wouldn't stay here again because of the rooms.
