We stayed for two nights in July. Our first problem was parking. There are paying car parks nearby, but we were directed by helpful staff to an area of free parking. Unfortunately this was some distance from the hotel, difficult with luggage. The hotel itself is old fashioned but has a certain charm because of that. The minute lift (just... More

Nice hotel for a one-night stand in a road trip. Clean and comfortable, no luxury. Exactly what you would expect for 40 eur. Breakfast is optional (10 eur), and I really cannot comment because we had it elsewhere.

The location is excellent if you are in between trains. And, there are a couple of really good small restaurants adjacent with excellent food. However, this is a basic, old hotel, so don't expect much. It is a overpriced for what you get. When the city trash collectors visited at night, I thought a gang hit was going on. Later,... More

I stayed two nights at Hotel Côte Basque travelling alone. It was very clean, safe, a nice modern room, well located right near the train station and a short stroll over the bridge into town. The staff were friendly and helpful, there was a good breakfast and I booked at a special rate which was outstanding value. I felt very... More

Our room on the 4th floor was charming and a good size; however there is no A/C and it faced rue Muebec so it was hot and very loud at night when trying to sleep. That being said, the staff were really nice and the location not bad. I wouldn't stay here again because of the rooms.

Looked great from the road, when we got to reception it looked like a mistake but after the initial apprehension things only got better. The lift and stair well are clearly original and one expects Humphrey Bogart to exit the lift at any minute! The room, front facing, was large as was the bathroom. Both well appointed and clean, with a large... More

I booked this hotel because it was close to the train station. The hotel building and the staircase doesn't give the best impression, but the room was comfortable and clean. Our room was on the second floor facing the street but with the window closed was not noisy. It is located right across from the train station. There is also... More

This hotel is directly across the street from the train station and just across the bridge from the cathedral--perfect location. I loved my room--it was large with a great atmosphere. It made me feel like I was in 18th century France but with all the modern amenities. Wifi worked great. The man at the front desk was very friendly and... More

I found myself here by default...and I am very happy about it. My room was almost spotless. That coupled with the fact that it is just across the street from the train station made me a very happy "camper." The staff I dealt with were friendly and professional.
