In an outstanding setting, in the heart of Strasbourg, on the banks of the "Petite France" historical district, rediscover the unique charm of "Les Haras". A prestige hotel with a contemporary flair, a Brasserie restaurant run by Marc Haeberlin, in the stirling spirit of the original site. A magical and secret place, built in the middle of the 18th century, sheltered in the former National Stud Farm, classified as a historical monument since 1922. Although the Brasserie des Haras restaurant and Les Haras Hotel are two separate entities, they are both located at the same place, i.e., Strasbourg’s former national stud farm. The team of Les Haras Hotel is available for you to secure your lunch and dinner reservations during your stay at the hotel. However, please note that, due to considerable demand and to the high reputation of the Brasserie restaurant, we strongly recommend that you anticipate your table reseervation requests as soon as you book your room.

Excellent concept, The pool is nice, the rooms are pleasant to stay in and cosy.the restaurant is exceptional and very tasty. There is no comfy lounge comparing it with leonor. The staff is polite except for the rude valet guy of the arrival ! It's a shame that the first impression is spoiled by the valet guy who will comment on your small rental car, but sorry, this was the last one available on avis and I would not travel from Greece to strasbourg with my Taycan so that the "sans dent" likes my car

Perfect in every way, wonderful service, amazing food, such a quiet nights sleep. Location really good too. Book the brasserie in advance as it is very popular and worth it. Really charming and the staff all go the extra mile for your comfort

Excellent this hotel just few minutes away from the Petit France but in a very quiet and relaxing neighbourhood. Rooms are large, comfortable, modern, well-equipped and very quiet. Sumptuous the breakfast quantity and quality-wise. Very good the service from very professional staff. I only have one regret. I would have liked to enjoy the sauna and the steamer but there was nobody there to ask for guidance and info. I think you need to book at the reception first but I had not been warned

I stayed at Hotel les Haras for 3 nights and had a lovely stay. It is across the river just a few blocks from Petite France and the old town. It is a 15 mins. walk from the train station. So everything is close, but you are just outside the centre so it feels really quiet and peaceful. It is near the teaching hospital and the cave historique des hospices de strasbourg (old wine cellar) is worth popping by and is very close. There are also several excellent and affordable restaurants within steps of the hotel - less touristy than the ones near the cathedral. I chose this hotel because hotel guests have access to the spa area/pool for 1 hour daily and this was a highlight of my stay. You do have to reserve a time slot, but I would usually book it on the same day and whatever time I wanted was available. Sometimes I had the facilities to myself, and at maximum there were 3 other people there. The swimming pool is heated and beautifully designed. It is peaceful but big enough you can actually swim some laps. There is also a Finnish sauna, steam room, showers, and one of those buckets where you pull the cord and it dumps cold water on you. Then there is a relaxation area with chairs, loungers, blankets and tea. Just blissful!! If you want to stay over 1 hour, it is 25 euros but I also did not feel they were strict and timing your stay to the minute. I did not use the gym but took a peek and it is small without any mirrors, but has some basic equipment if you need (cardio machines, free weights). They let me borrow the pilates mat as I prefer to workout in my room so that I can use videos from my laptop. When I checked in, I was shocked to see my room was not cleaned and was a mess from the previous guest. I was surprised at the oversight. I would also say the woman who checked me in was not particularly warm. She just gave me my key and did not make any small talk whatsoever (e.g. asking where I came from/how the flight was etc). So my first impression was not the best. But there was a staff member in the hallway, so I told them my room was not ready and she quickly fixed the situation. At first, she said I can wait and they will clean it. But I was annoyed as I had been traveling almost 24 hours (flight to CDG then taxi to train station then train then 15 mins walk in the heat) and just wanted to rest and shower. Plus, it was after 3pm which is the designated check-in time. It's not like I arrived early. Thankfully, they found me another room and immediately took me there and were apologetic. I did not require much assistance from the concierge as I already had things planned out. I did not eat their breakfast, as I preferred to go to different cafes nearby to try their baked goods and coffee. I did enjoy sitting in the courtyard and reading. Front desk staff (a kind man, didn't get his name) were helpful when I needed to borrow a universal adapter. The room itself (the basic queen room) was near perfect. Everything you need and would expect from a hotel of this calibre was there. Although the space is not that big, everything was so efficiently laid out. You have a small desk area, kettle with tea, mini bar (fridge was good to store snacks), robe, slippers. I loved the Nuxe toiletries (in eco friendly large bottles, not those wasteful tiny ones) and heated towel rack. Bed linens and towels were luxurious and plush. Everything was impeccably clean. I felt this hotel was really unique and the design is beautiful. Value is excellent and it was a perfect base for exploring Strasbourg and. the surrounding area.

Outstanding architecture improves the soul and the Hotel and Brasserie Les Haras set in historic stables surrounded by stunning modern architecture certainly did it for us. The ambiance soon took over and the stress of our journey was washed away. The room was classically simple with a beautiful bathroom. The air conditioning was perfect and the bed super comfortable (the best pillows ever). Breakfast was sumptuous with lovely friendly staff and took place on a terrace with gardens surrounded by stunning modern buildings. We asked at reception to tell us where the spa was located and the receptionist said at “follow me” and then told a little of the history of the location. The sunlight on the pool makes a beautiful display on the ceiling - there is a steam room and sauna. Mention should be made of the concierge service who wisk your car away to a super secure site in an adjoining street (tv cameras and barriers) - they were so helpful and efficient. The hotel is three minutes walk from Petit France and a brisk 15 minutes from the Cathedral but feels like it is almost in the country. We will certainly come back when Les Haras’ wellbeing has worn away.

I visited Straßburg for a seminar and stayed at this hotel. We arrived later in the night but were welcomed at the entrance. Our car was parked while our luggage was brought in to make the check in. The room big and very clean, the groom brought our things to the room. They care about the customer and they are more than friendly. The next day I was allowed to stay parked with the car till later in the afternoon in order to complete the seminar. Two bottles of water were offered to us free of charge for our journey. These small things are what characterizes the good service in a hotel. The quality of the furniture and bed in the room was also very satisfying. The location is very good, near the city center but not loud at all. I was very positively surprised with this hotel and I will visit for sure again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. The building is amazing and the staff very helpful and kind. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a room on the first floor in the main building with an amazing view on the inner courtyard. We had a lovely dinner on the first night in the hotel's restaurant, which has an amazing decor. The wellness area is also impressive, and the first half our we had the whole area to ourselves, very nice. The hotel's location is furthermore perfect, very close to Petite France and the inner city.

The Hotel is ok but nothing of Woww, but the valet guy obliged me that he was parking my car. It ended with an accident. I still wait for the French insurance to pay for my damage ,Horrible Service. They wreck your car then you never hear from them again. Never again
