Firstly great location, both for the train station and for shopping and also sightseeing. Friendly staff, I think for the price this hotel is fine. It's all about it's location. This is a basic hotel, our room was a bit tired and dated and not the cleanest, but for the price I found it to be ok. Maybe stay here...

I picked Le Colmar because of its proximity to the Strasbourg train station. The whole center of town can be walked in 10 minutes, and the hotel is a super convenient place to start that walk. There are little shops and restaurants nearby, so food or supplies are no problem at all. And every couple blocks, there is a patisserie,...

The positive: friendly staff. The poor: tiny, tiny rooms. After subtracting the bed, a small table and two plastic chairs, there might have been 8 square feet in which to walk around. The bathroom had a folding door that, when closed, barely had room for using the toilet. The bathroom had sheer curtains - so good luck having any privacy...

We stayed just one night at Hotel Le Colmar in August 2012. The room was sufficient for what we paid, although keep in mind there is no lift so heavy bags are a bit difficult to get up the steep and narrow stairs. Location of the hotel is great--close to the train station and a small market for basic groceries....

This hotel has a spectacular location for someone traveling by train. It's an easy walk from the train station and easy to find from it. Things don't look so promising when you see that the reception is up a steep flight of stairs from the street. I didn't find an elevator either. What you first see of the hotel doesn't...

Cute little hotel with 14 rooms in a super location: close to the train station, the center and Petite France with bakeries and supermarkets close by; we paid 38€ for a double-room and it was great value for money; staff are friendly and helpful, our room was clean and done up every day and we even had a little flat-screen...

Hotel Le Colmar was the best hotel we could chose! The check-in was the the fastest I had so far: in 30 seconds we got the keys! The room was small, but big enough, with sink, comfortable bed, a small LCD, a table, 3 chairs. What I liked most was the atmosphere this room creates, and the view over the...
