Hotel Cour du Corbeau was the most comfortable and enjoyable hotel we stayed at during our 10 day excursion in Alsace. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts included American omelette as well as the traditional Continental fare. Plus, when we checked in, the woman at the front desk gave well-informed recommendations for restaurants for dinner, which was particularly challenged given our stay coincided with August’s “congées”. It was quite hot during our stay and the room’s AC worked very well. Plus the location is near the quays in Strasbourg, which offer the best way to traverse the city. We’ll be back!
Very nice experience. The hotel is lovely, the staff is kind, professional, prompt and available. Super clean. Beds are comfortable. Central location. The breakfast takes place in the courtyard, the setting is very pleasant. Recommended.
While arriving late at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff at this late hour. Room was extremely quiet and well located with a beautiful view on the courtyard. The bed was comfortable. Staff at breakfast was amazing and very helpful with a careful selection of salty and sweet options. Two minuses: - I put a (working) jacket for dry cleaning at 10h on the first day and I was told I would have it by 16h today. I only received it the next day upon my departure a 11h. Good thing I packed two suits. - the limited amount of plugs in the room.
What an amazing hotel. We were so impressed with it. From when we arrived and checked in we felt welcomed and special. The hotel in itself is really charming. The rooms are very nice and kept very tidy. The locations cannot be better as you can walk to anywhere in Strasbourg. However the absolute best about the hotel is the staff from reception to concierge/bell captain to the staff in the restaurant bar. They were all incredible friendly and helpful. Definitely our hotel in Strasbourg. Thank you so much
This hotel is one of the most charming and wonderful hotels where we hve ever been. The history of the hotel, the friendly service, the charming patio, the wonderful rooms, the almost best breakfast we ever had, the wonderful manager Mrs. Anne - all these was amazing. Thank you so much for this wonderful stay at this perfect place close to the center of Strassbourg. For all people who love charming places - this is the best one.
Located in the heart of Strasbourg, this hotel is quaint and charming. The half-timbered exterior was authentic and totally fits with the city. We even had a few timbers inside our room, which was a 2 level suite. We weren't able to stand up all the way on one side of the bed due to the low ceiling. This wasn't a problem for us, but it might be an issue for particularly tall guests. We had 2 bathrooms, one on each level, as well as 2 doors...one opened into an interior hallway and the other opened outside to a corridor lined with wood railings and flower boxes. Everything was very clean and well kept. We were very pleased with our stay.
A really beautiful boutique hotel full of history and character. We appreciated the kind service from the ladies at reception who understand what hospitality is about. I recommend this lovely hotel for your stay in Strasbourg.
We enjoyed our stay in one of the most historical hotels in Europe! Very accommodating, friendly service, rooms ready on arrival and EXCELLENT location to explore Strasbourg! We truly liked our stay and had no complaints.
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights . The hotel is beautiful, clean, very well located, surrounded by good cafes and restaurants. Its easily walkable to grand rue and to museums are next door. Our stay would have been great with five star rating if not for the last day. When we came back to our room on 8th may , we noticed the air conditioning was off, no air and ventilation in the room, the room was very warm. We spoke to the front desk, they were evasive , first they said it will be switched on in half an hour, next they said leave the windows open. This was not fair, they advertise themselves as hotel with air conditioning and I feel that must be provided to customers. They claimed that there is aircirculation through the vent which was false. The staff should have admitted that AC was switched off. They offered a upgrade to another bigger room , but that was also hot. The weather in france was become quite warm that day. We slept with windows open , but since our room was on 1st floor there was lots of noise till 11pm. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel as there are excellent breakfast places around.…
Great hotel with lovely prestations such as a copious breakfast as well as a warm welcome ! And a beautiful Alsatian architecture ! The room is spacious and the beds are comfortable The hotel is located 2 minutes walk from the cathedral, the streetcar and the center. I only spent one night there but I would definitely recommend !
