The Club, a true place of life, includes a business corner equipped with I-Mac and a printer, lounge lounges to work with serenity, a library and press available to relax. In this same space, our guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast made up of organic and artisan products and can find fresh drinks, hot drinks and snacks at any time. Each evening our team prepares for our customers an aperitif, and composed of local products and offers them a welcome drink. Served from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, the aperitif is a true moment of conviviality, which gives full meaning to the OKKO HOTELS concept. When traveling, we can be like elsewhere but regret not being at home. You will find all the equipment you have at home: a wifi access everywhere, I-Phone dock and Nespresso in the room, fridges for snacks 24h/24

Easy access to tram and Rivetoile mall, this meticulously clean and modern hotel has great amenities. Weird pod-like bathrooms will make you feel like Jeff Goldblum in The Fly. The louvres give some privacy. Balconies are about one foot wide and run the length of the building without dividers between rooms. I suppose you could easily visit neighboring rooms but all doors have locks. The lounge is great- complete with board games, magazines, computers and views. There is a cappuccino machine available 24/7. Breakfast time is hectic and the servers struggle to keep up. The lounge gets quite warm in the summer- maybe due to large windows.

The hotel was simply amazing down to every detail. Very modern decor and luxurious rooms. Very comfortable bed, excellent wifi, and a nice view of the city from the upper floors. Wonderful fresh breakfast in the morning. The greeting that I received left the greatest impression. The lovely person at the desk walked me around to show me where everything was located and really made me feel welcome. This is such a nice and rare thing. Great management to hire and train such welcoming and friendly staff.

WHAT WE ENJOYED: - there’s a lovely scent piped thru the common areas - the staff is very friendly and speaks a variety of languages. - the evening drink and continental buffet was an amazing perk that FAR EXCEEDED expectations — really great. - The Club common area was a great place to get work down and enjoy a cappuccino — we leveraged this space a lot. - the sauna is small but mighty and a nice amenity. - the hotel is just off one tram line and another is a short distance away — super easy to get to from the central station. OUR SUGGESTIONS: - the bathroom offers little privacy. the room is tiny (tho nicely decorated) so the bed is right next to it and, as it’s a glass room with static wooden shutters, you’ll catch glimpses of your partner on the toilet (not exactly romantic if you’re looking for romance). Maybe an adhesive transfer like the one used for the shower could be applied on the glass wall facing the bed fo ra little more privacy. - the gym is tiny with now windows. It needs free weights above 8kg. a mirror and, ideally, a small fan to circulate the air. One cannot do a legit workout here (unless you’re leveraging just your body weight). - the breakfast (which we paid additionally for) should really be listed as “Continental”. There are some cold cuts and cheese and only one egg boiler for up to 6 eggs (as you can imagine this one machine is insufficient when the morning rush comes thru). That said, we definitely feel we got our money’s worth between the morning service and the complimentary evening offering + the light snacks and coffee/tea available throughout the day. WOULD WE RECOMMEND IT? - we would stay again at the price we obtained and we would recommend this hotel for the a business traveler (or for couples that don’t mind seeing each other on the toilet).

I was hoping to love this hotel. I had stayed at the lovely OKKO in Lyon. This one was not the same. Although in a new urban development away from the city centre, the hotel is not accessible by car. Not even for dropping off bags. I walked to the reception (which is located on the first floor) and was told there's plenty of parking on the street and it's just a short walk. The hotel website should just make this clear. There is a mall parking lot close by. I am always amazed at how most French hotels (this one calls itself 4 star) have so little attention to detail. As one enters the lobby, you are greeted by a minuscule single pod for check-in, and right behind it, the open door to the back-of-house office, with messy papers, a photocopy machine, sloppy looking. NO 4 star hotel allows this. During my entire stay the door to the back-office was open. Also in a 4 star hotel, luggage is managed. Again, the minuscule lobby is cluttered with luggage carts (presumably to get luggage to your faraway car) and for my duration there was luggage stored in lobby area. Lots of it. No hotel manager with an eye for actually managing would allow this. The "Club" is where breakfast is served, and drinks available. It's a nice enough space but poorly designed and laid out. The breakfast service wasn't thought through, so even if there is an "island" where juices and yogurts are, the main service counter is about 2 metres wide and tucked way at the back of the room, right next to the service door to the kitchen, and right above storage pantries. So on the 2 mornings I had breakfast there it feels like you are fighting with other guests, and also clearly in the way of employees. TheClub is so large, I wonder who thought it was a good idea to cram everything in the tightest possible corner? The rooms have the main problem of "inter season" air conditioning, which is basically in France you can't cool your room until June. They always use the same excuse that it's "inter season". Second night i resorted to open the sliding door (it is limited to a 6 inch opening though), but still it made the room bearable. The second main problem with the room is the bathroom. Others have commented, I think it is a fundamental design flaw that you can see directly in the bathroom from the room. (Unless you are 2m tall and standing in the room, then the "blades" that should provide privacy actually work). No problem for a solo traveller. But even for a couple, I believe a bathroom should provide a minimum of privacy. This one does not. If one is laying on the bed, you can see everything that goes on inside shower, sink, and even toilet. The rest of the room is no-frills efficient. Four stars according to the French rating, but not an international 4 star standard. Beds not particularly comfortable, just OK. The entrance of the hotel is also right next to the garbage bins of the adjacent restaurant, so nothing screams "welcome back" like a pile of stinking garbage and garbage juice right next to the door. I can see how they are trying to position the brand as "affordable luxury". They have succeeded only on the "affordable" part. The area is a 15 minute walk from the center, so it is convenient. The staff was friendly but nothing memorable.

This hotel in a new district of Strasbourg uses the proven OKKO attributes. Modern room, avantgarde bathroom, excellent service and hospitality. I much enjoy the possibility to have a drink and snack in the evening. I'll be back!
