This hotel is very well located downtown and along the river. It is very typical of the house from that region. There is no parking, you need to park sometimes several minutes away from the hotel. The staff is very helpfull. The breakfast is very large with a lot of choices. Unfortunately, the rooms design could be improved (getting old)...

Very good position in little Venice area, some rooms have view to the water. Romantic atmosphere, very nice Christmas decorations with bears and lights. In front of the hotel there is a nice Christmas market. Nice staff in reception, good food in own beautiful restaurant. The rooms are a little bit small even if comfort not standard but bathroom is...

Loved this hotel. It was trully Alsatian and made for a wonderful stay. Staff friendly and in a perfect location. The only downsides were the size of the rooms and bathroom. I didn't see that we had booked the broom cupboard but it felt like it! I came home with a bruise on my hip from knocking into the radiator....

The Hostellerie le Marechal was absolutely a dream. My husband and I stayed there for our honeymoon and were upgraded by chance to Room #1 (because its the best- wee!) Service was impeccable, breakfast was delicious and decadent. The view over the canal is incredible. You feel like you are in a Van Gogh painting. The colors are so vibrant,...

Just back from stay at this beautiful hotel. On arrival we were given an upgraded room. What a nice surprise. Staff all very attentive and very helpful. Hotel steeped in history so charming. Excellent location. Very big thank you to all. Would certainly recommend a stay here.

The hotel is very historic, and well located. I was a single traveler, so the room was small. But the staff was great. And the restaurant was quite a treat. Colmar is fairly small, so it is easy to get around, but the location on the canal make is rather special given the view from the room.

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful hotel in Colmar to tour the old city. I love the charm of the old architecture and liked that the hotel had a restaurant. We payed for the night with travel rewards- on a plan that reimburses hotels, but not dining. So we just charged the food to our room. :) The...

We arrived in Colmar by train and couldn't find a taxi due to a marathon that was being held that day. This is when we learned that you can easily walk to the hotel which was 10-15 minutes away once we got a map. The hotel is in a convenient location and we stayed here for 2 nights. Our room...

Boutique hotel in the Petite Venise, peaceful location in Colmar's most picturesque district, within walking distance of main attractions and railway station. Gourmet dining and breakfast right by the river, on terrace by good weather. Lots of character, quiet and comfortable with all modern conveniences, including dressing gowns, slippers and free Wifi. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay there again.

This picturesque hotel is a warren of tiny rooms, passages and even tinier elevators. We found the breakfast to be very good but we're not so enamoured with the room. In our opinion it lacked the features expected of a 4 star hotel. It lacked space and the bathroom in particular was tiny. No wifi in the room is a...
