My husband, son (11) and I stayed here recently as part of our holiday trip. I would like to say upfront that this was a very nice hotel - the staff were very friendly, the beds very comfortable and the rooms clean and well decorated. The breakfast was also very good. On the first night we arrived, we ate in... More

Stayed here one night when returning by car from Italy to Belgium. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great (but pricey) breakfast. We haven't tried the (Michelin star) restaurant or the brasserie. The rooms in the older part of the hotel are not really according our taste, but the bed's good. The bathroom has been refurbished not too long ago. Good &... More

Being opposite the train station it's very handy for travelling. It's also a very comfortable hotel, clean, spaceous room (we were on 4th floor),soft but supportive beds. Looked refurbished. Bathroom fitments excellent and room a good size. Shower adjustable in power. Breakfast was fantastic. Fresh fruits (in separate bowls so you make up your bowl of fruit salad), and pastries... More

We had a very nice stay for one night. The hotel is directly across from the train station. Very nice, very clean. Our room was small but adequate. It was about a ten minute walk into the old town. We actually ate dinner in the hotel auberge because it began storming in the evening. Dinner was good and the restaurant... More

We spent 5 nights at the Bristol. Our room was very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little bit small but serviceable and it was clean and had all the usual and desirable accommodations. The desk clerks all spoke fluent English as well as French, and in some cases German. They were all friendly, courteous, and helpful.... More

We stayed only one night but it was great. Good clean room. we were just happy. very good experience. It's right across from the train station, which is very good if you are traveling by train. it's a little walk to the old town center though.

We stayed 6 nights in the hotel, within a party of 40 organised by Great Rail Journeys. The hotel is close to the station and about 15 mins walk on the level from the historic centre of Colmar. The hotel staff were well-organised and welcoming. The hotel was clean and the room adequately spacious, rather than large. Even tho' we... More

We stayed here for 1 night on the way home from Italy , wished it had been longer as colmar is a lovely town and this hotel is friendly and staff helpful. The small tourist train stops outside the hotel and takes you into the old town with its canals and boat trips.

I cancelled this hotel room, yet the hotel still charged me. They lied and said I checked in, yet never did. When I asked for proof of my signature, they obviously couldn't provide it so they changed their story to I never cancelled the room. Extremely unprofessional and rude staff. Find somewhere else to stay.

Our tour group stayed here in June and found the staff and lodging very nice. Rooms are adequate in size and have hairdryers. The is a small elevator for the upper floors. The breakfast in the the bistro is very good but I felt it was a little warm in the room both mornings we were there. We enjoyed a... More
