Only a 2min walk from Piccadily Station. Very central for centre of town. Room was spotless. All the staff were lovely, reception, bar & dining room. We decided to pay extra for breakfast which was worth it, lots of choice. Would book again when back in Manchester.

Hotel's Favorite
The hotel is ideally placed within a five minute walk from Piccadilly train station and is perfectly suited for a visit to Manchester. On entering I received a warm welcome by the desk staff. Everything was explained very well about meals and procedures. It felt very safe. The room has a seal on the door and was immaculately clean with plenty of towels. I ate on the terrace and cannot fault the food or the service. The food was very tasty and excellent value. Breakfast was delivered to my room at the requested time by a very friendly member of staff. Despite it being room service the coffee and sausage sandwich were piping hot. I had to check out early to return home and the staff were very helpful. Overall a great stay and great value for money. I would recommend this hotel.

Worst hotel we have ever stayed in , we will 100 % never stay in this hotel again . Got upgraded to what I describe as a box room ? Complained was moved to a slightly bigger room still filthy carpets & curtains, bed was worst hotel bed ever . Breakfast was horrible I enquired about cancelling 2nd day Breakfast was informed that I had booked bed & breakfast I could not cancel so 2nd day fruit & yoghurt for breakfast . Disgusting attitude of reception staff .

On arrival found several people waiting for check in, fortunately the wait wasn’t long before my turn come, the room I booked into online as a Hilton Honours Member wasn’t ready so offered an alternative on same floor. On reaching my room all looked good and given a cookie to munch at front desk ! , closer inspection however showed wear and tear on the desk chair, bathroom sink was badly scratched and on the floor of the bathroom was a long black hair, I’ve short grey hair, a couple of tiny red spots on the tiles beside the WC could have been either from red wine or blood. I booked Dinner with bed an breakfast what is included as part of the dinner is very limited you expect to be charged extra for drinks but you’ll also be charge extra for a desserts and side dishes, it was poor value in my view, though the service was good and food tasty. Breakfast was by Hilton standards not the best, the hot buffet selection was nowhere near hot enough for my tastes, the sausages tasted like economy ones with a very low meat content but again the service was good. Location of hotel is excellent near Manchester Piccadilly Station just on boarder of The Gay Village. For a Double Tree which is suppose to be a more upscale offering it didn’t really feel more luxurious to me. I would probably use this hotel again strictly bed and breakfast.

Stayed here on our first trip to Manchester for a couple of years. The hotel itself wasn't that clean with the corridors especially looking like they could do with at least hoovering. The room was okay though but as seems to be case now no room cleaning unless you request it, which is fine for a night or two but not so good for longer stays. The breakfast also seemed less extensive than usual with a more limited selection and a tendancy to run short at times. Would usually have expected better from a Hilton!
