Booked afternoon tea on a Groupon deal , just £20 for two . The hotel is pretty nondescript from the outside , but once through the door , it is lovely and inviting with a nice fresh modern decor throughout. We got a nice warm welcome from the reception staff and then directed

Have stayed here before when it was The Arora, gad to see it hasn't changed much. We've always stayed in a room which is off the main street so nice and quiet. Breakfast was terribly average hotel fare, not bad but could do better. Handy for Chinatown!

This hotel is incredibly well located, with a really comfortable bed. We stayed here for Parklife festival, booking well ahead - but it was still very expensive, at almost £600 for the 3 nights. We chose to splash out on a 4 star hotel to treat ourselves - it’s a

Dear Voyager07251207583 Thank you for your recent feedback regarding your stay here at the Princess St Hotel. It is correct that the hotel is due a refurbishment and the rooms will be looking fresher on your next visit. The prices were higher because of the busy Park Life weekend and this was the same in the city that weekend. I have passed the feedback on the the housekeeping department as to whether the room needs looking at currently. I am pleased to see that you found the staff lovely, the bed to be comfy, where I hope you got a good nights sleep. I hope you will return to the hotel in the future. Dear Francescaha Thank you very much for your recent feedback regarding your stay here at the Princess St hotel in Manchester. I am delighted to see that you found the location perfect to the surrounding bars and restaurants and found your room very big, quiet and clean. Pleased you were rested on the comfy bed but sorry to hear that there was some shampoo missing from your bathroom. Happy staff were friendly and helpful but I will be addressing them regarding the greetings of all guests. Hoping to see you back at the hotel again soon. John Chadwick Front of House Manager

Room is fine, although a super-soft spring mattress in the 21st century was not expected. Very uncomfortable. Also, the window overlooks a very narrow alley which meant that I could hardly see the sky when looking upwards. The room has bath tub, hair dryer, flat TV, safe and a

Dear Esther M Thank you for your recent feedback regarding your visit to the Princess St Hotel. I am sorry to see that you did not fully enjoy your experience here at the hotel with us fully. As we are a hotel in the city unfortunately we do have surrounding buildings, however, higher floors and front facing rooms can be requested. I am pleased to see that you enjoyed the hotel's location and found the friendliness of the staff to be great. Hoping to see you here at the hotel once again. John Chadwick Front of House Manager
