A group of 8 of us had stayed here in a private 8 person dorm, the room was small but manageable, however the heat was crazy there should be Atleast fans, especially having to walk 4 flights of double stairs to the top Everytime you went downstairs in the heat. Though the night I think lads had been using the... More

I stayed in this hostel for one night in February 2016. Thank God it was only one night. It was just sad. The rooms were far too hot to sleep and the bathroom was dirty and ill-equipped. There was hardly any light in there. It was gross and everyone made awkward conversation with each other on the top bunks. Sad... More

I'd recommend if you're staying in Manchester to pay £10 more and book into a travellodge or something similar. The hostel was 'OK' I suppose by hostel standards, but the double room was vastly over-priced from my experience, and also looked grotty. The bed has left me with back pains due to the mattress been too large for the frame... More

Staff and other guests are friendly. Clean and tidy. Breakfast was good Can be a little noisy at night with the pubs around and party goers but you get use to it and then don't notice it as much. The shower pressure isn't very good but still useable.

Old style Hostel which provides everything a traveler requires with it being a short walk from the train station . Staff were more than helpful on arrival & during my stay . Trams & buses are accessible within a five minute giving easy movement around the city . I personally was using the location for somewhere to stay whilst at... More

Not clean at all and quite shabby, but a very friendly atmosphere, nice and helpful staff, polite guests, very "all inclusive": sheets, breakfast, wifi and so on. I loved it, even though I became scared to go to the toilets... First of all, the location was excellent - easy to find and close to the main train/bus stations. The staff... More

Had a great stay just for one night before an early train in the morning. Staff was lovely, facilities were just everything you would expect from a hostel. Gorgeous bar downstairs with a mini cinema and filmnight on the monday which i thought was really cute! City centre location really close to everything. Perfect for a night or two x

Check in and check out staff were very false and unfriendly, didn't have a nice attitude to guests. On the lift they explicitly stated that UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, Guests cannot use the lift. There was no safe spaces available to LGBT/Non-binary people. Yes I did have a bottom bunk and the guy that was on the late nights was lovely... More
