Parking arrangements not great. On arrival, receptionist not helpful. Room was good though, with ample parking space. Hotel was clean and tidy. OK price for the money. Overall an OK stay for the money.
The noise from inside and outside this hotel was chaotic, ridiculous and loud. To keep this review short and sweet, this hotel is Manchester’s equivalent to The Cecil Hotel. Would not stay here again.
Everything is within 10-min walking distance- food, shopping, bus stops The security was great as only those with key cards can use the elevators. The room size seemed like it was a bit smaller than other travelodge. However, it was ok for the short stay. Travelodge is a reliable chain hotel. It never fails to keep its promises- clean towels on demand. Disadvantages TV was directly in front of the window and blocking the view. Armchair was too large to get in since it's between the table and the bed.
Don’t stay here for business or if you have a young family. Perfect for a party any night of the week if you don’t like sleeping. The soundproofing both internally from the apparently all drunk other guests and boy racers sitting at the traffic lights outside will guarantee you a cad nights sleep
Visited here with a friend for one night whilst visiting WHP at Mayfield. The hotel was clean and fresh and good value for money, with a large selection of bar drinks. The only downside was the room was a bit small, but this may have been due to our stay only consisting of one night. Planning on travelling back up to Manchester this winter, so will most likely be staying again! Would recommend!
