I was actually pleasantly surprised when I checked into this place - i'd seen previous damning reviews and was expecting a real dump. True, if you're after comfort and luxury stay away - this is no-frills accommodation in a noisy (though very central) part of town. But the front desk and staff were friendly and polite and the room was... More

Horrible, spiders and insects all over the room. The bed was barley made, the staff were friendly face to face however were VERY rude and ignorant via email. They gave the tv remote to the wrong room and when I asked for the right one I was told "that's only there for decoration." Wifi doesn't reach the rooms, you're charged... More

Basic Hotel, Very Clean, The Staff are very friendly and polite Would Stay here again defiantly. Situated right in the Heart of Manchester city centre. The negative reviews regarding this hotel in the past is nothing like what I experienced. Would Stay here again..

I don't usually write reviews and it's even rarer that I have something negative to say but I felt I had to speak out about this establishment. Dingy atmosphere, shoddy furniture, a charge for the use of a towel, loud streets (other customers being louder and hanging out in the hall at 2am). Paying close to £40 you would expect... More

Was a great stay, Muhammed, the night porter the night I stayed was a very genuine, respectful and helpful man. Location central - friendly vibe. Some rooms better than others. This hotel is bringing affordable accommodation to central Manchester. Cracking.

My friend had booked to stay here for the night whilst we were seeing a concert; it was a short walk to the stadium and an even shorter walk to the train station so was initially ideal. I usually look at trip advisor when booking somewhere but hadn't done so this time as a friend had made the arrangements. After... More

I really have no words to describe just how bad this hotel is... you have to see it to believe it!!! We were reluctant to enter the hotel as it looked so dirty/rough and it didn't get any better inside! We tried with no avail to book into other hotels .. a big concert that night meant that everywhere was... More

Room door lock didn't work. Window wouldn't close. Receptionist asleep behind reception. Bedroom walls were damp with fresh paint (nice touch there...). Need I go on? Do not waste your money. Hell hole. Literally checked in and checked out

Even as a very cheep place to stay it still requires a full make over. No towels in room unless you pay for them. The bed is basic and the matteress didn't fit the frame. Daughter room had stains on the shower mat. But as said you get what you pay for. Stayed because every where else was booked due... More

There are loads of bad reviews about this hotel so I was dreading going. It's not a 5 star hotel by any means and the cleanliness of parts leave a lot to be desired, our window in our room was broken, but on the plus side I found the staff really friendly and helpful and full of info about local...
