Stayed here for a weekend break. Hotel really grand, beautiful entrance reception and lovely original features. We had a twin room with two doubles. Room was really spacious and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was great, large selection of cooked items, cereals, fruits, pastries, etc. Service polite and attentive. My only negative was the length of time to get served in the...

We arrived a couple of hours before check in and the lady on the desk was very helpful and told us our room was already vacant, so we made our way downstairs. Our room was on the lower level and therefore there was absolutely no view from our window, just a brick wall with barbed wire across the top of...

Stayed for one night the room we had was at the front of the hotel and we soon discovered the heating was not working. They were unable to fix the problem so we were offered another room without any fuss. It was my wife's birthday and on arrival they had left a selection of macaroons with a happy birthday message,...

What can I say about this hotel other than stunning from the minute you walk into reception to your final destination, a beautifully decorated, stylish, top of the range room. Cannot fault anything as this place is pure luxury

We stayed here on a sunday night, while we were in town for a funeral. Beautiful Stunning building. Lovely room. The bed was a little small for a double, but no problem. The treat basket was a cute touch. Great Brekkie. Will return

Wow ! We stayed here for one night for my husbands 40th on the 30/12/16. We were stunned at how beautiful the building and interior was and overwhelmed at the truly personal service that we received, in particularly Bruno at reception was so professional and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Also the customer service manager arranged...

Bathroom was geat, lots of nice towles, although no heated mirror. It wasn't cheap, but as it was new years eve they had us over a barrel, didn't have breakfast either. Found all the staff...

My daughter and I recently stayed for one night. We were offered a room upgrade to a two double bed room. It was amazing - recently refurbished, high ceiling, chandelier, brilliant ensuite bathroom, leather armchairs. The hotel itself smelled gorgeous throughout, it's early twentieth century decor was a joy in itself and the staff were so attentive, We shall be...

We stayed here for a night in early December, and were immediately impressed by the stunning entrance. We paid just above average price for a decent hotel in Manchester, and I believe we made the right choice. Our room was so big and gorgeous, with a free tuck box, and Neal's Yard toiletries. We only stopped in briefly to drop...

Stayed here for a theatre trip (The Palace is directly across the road). There are several NCP car parks within a few hundred yards of the hotel. Just had a total refurbishment and looks really good. The building is worth a visit alone, inside is spectacular with a lot of the original features from the early 1900s preserved.Be aware however...
