This place is completely outdated it needs and requires a lot of TLC. The beds are probably the most uncomfortable thing i ever lay on (they still have caster wheels)the mattress was awful and every move could be heard around the room . As there was no window the smell in the room was nearly unbearable, it was a stale...

I booked this hotel via booking.com for a 1 night stay at a cost of £177.00 room only. fortunately I had free cancellation as 2 nights before my arrival I rang to ask 2 questions 1. How much was it extra for breakfast 2. Could they cater for my wife's gluten intolerance The lady who answered spoke very little english...

Very central location, which made up for about all the inconveniences that we had. Very close to shops, museums, buses, supermarket, pubs... The room we had was quite large, good heating, a not very big double bed, but comfort was acceptable for two nights. The personnel is more than welcoming, ready to help asap. Wifi quite poor. You get 20...

Stayed here as it was the cheapest place compared to the £200 plus for one night stay in Manchester. Expected it to be terrible and a horror hotel from reviews however you get what you pay for. Booked a normal double room with no window. Arriving the hotel looks very old fashioned. The room wasn't that bad. Was a typical...

Stayed here for two nights as I was attending a wedding. First of all the hotel itself is very old fashioned and is in need of some serious refurbishment, I almost felt like I was back in the 1980's. We were informed that the hotel has parking. It doesn't. There is a public street car park right opposite the hotel...

Checked in by very friendly, efficient and pleasant lady called Clara. Room tired and aged looking but clean, functional and good value for money. Restaurant food good and reasonably priced. Served by a lovely waiter called Victor who had a beautiful smile, the service was excellent, he was most efficient and he went out of his way to be helpful.

Stayed here as part of a Christmas break(we didnt know the name of the hotel until a week before) Arrived on a cold miserable night an hour later than planned..first impressions were "Oh dear" I had already read the reviews and was really concerned about what kind of hotel we were about to be spending our Christmas at. The first...

my girlfriend booked us the hotel for my birthday as a weekend get away.Swaying us towards the hotel was the fact it had a spa and swimming pool,on arrival a member of staff told us the wrong opening/closing times so didn't manage to get a chance to use it. The overall hotel I guess was alright if you get a...

We've stayed at the Sachas a few times over the years as it's ideally located right in the centre of the city with an NCP car park next door. The hotel is very tired looking and desperately in need of refurbishment, but that would inevitably lead to a price increase. The carpets in the rooms are threadbare in places, but...
