I booked this hotel for the night for my husbands birthday, the reception area was beautiful but on accessing the guest rooms it was tired in places. The room was quite small but had everything you would need. I did expect a higher quality of extras for the price we had paid, like the hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities. The kettle was in the drawer and when I pulled it out to use it it was half full of stale water. For the price of the room I expected slippers and a robe I probably wouldn't stay here again. Although it was perfectly fine. It was clean, the bed was comfy and it had plenty of plug sockets and mirrors I don't think it was value for money. I have stayed in better for less.

To be told no heating and to use a portable heater and no hand soap as you are waiting delivery. Ridiculous We were moved to another room, heating worked until the next day. I had treated my daughter for her graduation and I was very disappointed

The welcome was fine and it's a lovely building. Yet to have breakfast yet so can't comment on that. However two things have really spoiled it for us. The first is the spa. We tried to book into the spa two weeks before arrival and we were basically told it was pot luck on arrival. When we arrived we were told it was full except for 7am and 12pm which didn't work for us, but were told if we rang that morning we could have booked?? The spa agreed they should have had an advance booking arrangement. But that wasn't much use for us when we wanted a hotel with spa facilities to use. We were also disappointed to be shown to a table for a late drink, at 12:20am, to then have to wait to be served only to be told that it was after 12:30 and we couldn't be served?? A very underwhelming stay.

Lovely impressive reception and rooms. However, maintenance issues in the room, no heating, sink wont desk . No 1 hr prebookable spa sessions left. Oh and room service was a reduced extortionate menu with a £7 tray charge . Should have just gone to Premier Inn

Dirty bathroom in superior room. The tiles in the bath had mould all over them. Shower door dirty and mouldy seal. No soap. Cleaning poor. The bathroom was dated and tired and needs refurbishment. We stayed for 4 night on business and the room was only cleaned once. I will not house to stay there again as want a hotel that offers me cleanliness in bathroom and good value. All staff were very pleasant

Good Morning Lochbuie15, Thank you very much for taking the time to review your recent stay with us, we are glad to know that you found our staff to be really pleasant. Meanwhile, we wish to sincerely apologise for the cleanliness not being of our normal standards. Unfortunately, external factors outside of our control have made it difficult for us to deliver our usual standard of product and service. As you have no doubt become aware, the impact of the pandemic, the shortage of available labour, and faced with supply chain issues continues to present significant challenges for the hospitality industry. We are working with our housekeeping teams to ensure that this issue does not re-occur and we hope that we can welcome you back to Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels in the near future! Kind Regards, Melisa Customer Experience Team
