At the gateway to the Northern Quarter, with its laid-back Bohemian vibe, sits Hotel Indigo® Manchester – Victoria Station hotel. Just a short distance from Manchester City Centre, and a one-minute walk from Manchester Victoria train station. This is a neighbourhood where anybody with an idea can change the world – it is a place where the norm is challenged, and different ways of thinking are celebrated. In the streets that make up our neighbourhood you will find evidence of our tough industrial past. A world-famous heritage illustrated by the worker bee motif, adopted by Manchester during the industrial revolution.

I'm usually a big fan of Indigo Hotels, and this one had great reviews s perhaps my expectations weren't reasonable. But (belatedly) looking at other reviews) I begin to see why I encountered the issues I did. First of all no-one to help with the baggage and there were quite a

Dear Clementine6, Firstly, Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review of your recent stay here with us. I am sorry to read that your overall experience was not up to your expectations. In particular, it is unfortunate that you did not appreciate the choice of music played throughout our public areas. While we did not directly chose the playlist ourselves, each area of the hotel has specially chosen playlists which represent our Neighbourhood and showcase many artists both from Manchester, and who have had particular highlights of their careers here in a city which very much embraces and has shaped much of the musical landscape of the last few decades. I am somewhat concerned about your comment regarding both the lack of assistance on arrival and the breakfast cost explanation. While Hotel Indigo, as a brand, does not provide Concierge or Luggage Porter services, I do pride myself that my team are always keen to move out from behind the desk to assist guests when needed. The fact that this did not happen on this occasion, I can only apologise. For the Breakfast, the £10 upsell does indeed cover a full, cooked breakfast, but this is a special deal for those guests checking in, whereby we add it as a package to your room. Without that package added, it does revert back to the full price of £14.95. Again, please accept my apologies that this was misunderstood at the time. I do understand that I have only addressed part of your concerns here, but I would welcome the chance to speak to you in more detail. As such, please contact me directly on frontofficemgr@manchestervictoria.hotelindigo.com, and I would be happy to see if I can assist further. Regards Bob Matthews Front Office Manager

We had a good one night stay at this hotel. Our room was a nice size and the hotel was a convenient location. I was disappointed by the cleanliness, however. As soon as we walked in the room, I noticed there was a long black hair on both beds. When I moved the pillows, I also

Dear ramblingirl67, Thank you for sharing your experience here at Hotel Indigo Manchester - Victoria Station. Firstly, I would like to thank you for the kind words about the hotel overall, and for the good score you gave us. I am sorry to read that the room had some cleanliness issues. I will, of course share this with our Housekeeping team to ensure that our high standards are met and that errors are not slipping through. For future reference, had you mentioned this to us at the time, we would have happily sent someone to rectify this, or we could have arranged for you to have a room that more closely matched the standards we set ourselves.
