It is a fantastic mix amongst traditional Irish pub, sport pub, karaoke bar. The interiors are fully dedicated to George Best, photos and quotes...amazing! Lovely staff, great service and prices ok. Perfect for people of every age who wants to share a pint in a friendly and funny place singing the evergreen hits.

This was nearing the end of a geriatric (40+!) stag afternoon and a welcome lift to the spirits after a few too many beers! Within the walls of the pub are many black and white photographs of 60s personalities and old Manchester United footballers from around that era that are a fascinating insight into a previous world. Good beer, great... More

This pub is always busy at the weekend and it always seems to be a really nice, jolly crowd! Good music and lively, friendly atmosphere every time I've been in. If you don't like football then don't go in when a match is on as it'll be very busy and the fans won't want you in the way of the... More

This pub has a great atmosphere and gets very busy, but it is very friendly and you have no problem getting served thanks to the efficient bar staff. A good range of beers, lagers and spirits on offer, with good music playing. The landlord has a great personality and always joins in the fun!

My husband and I were out in town with friends when we thought we'd see if the old nags head was still a great night and we weren't disappointed. I was very busy but we got served straightaway. The staff we're very friendly and the people in there were all very friendly. The music was fantastic something for everyone.

Great old fashioned pub with fab music bad atmosphere with friendly staff and people. The upgrade of the toilets would be beneficial as the only thing that let it down - great Karoke and there was a northern soul night upstairs going too!

This is a typical British Pub.On days when there's a football match or something else going on in Manchester which is most weeks its buzzing. We were there on a Thursday afternoon and it was packed but still easy to get a drink.

A huge pub , but still it felt cosy and friendly. A good place to sit and observe the locals , or chat with your friends . A good variety of beers . The staff polite and helpful . In the center of the city, near the town hall. Crowdy on weekends nights .
