The rooms are well appointed and interesting in the very historic building. Spa is excellent, the food is good. The staff were friendly and efficient. The massage was the best my wife had ever had - the facial, back and hand massage got a particular mention.

Had a lovely weekend break here. Friendly greeting, shown to an upstairs room that was pleasantly comfortable. As with all these very old inns expect creaking floorboards. Nice touch with fresh fruit in the room. Had a very nice bar meal and the atmosphere was buzzing but make sure you book a table straight away or when booking as it fills... More

I visited the Lygon Arms last week having booked the downstairs room in the Courtyard. My booking was confirmed by a return phone call to say that this room was available. My companion has heart failure and as a consequence stairs are a big problem. I have visited this hotel several times and always been given this room as requested.... More

This was a pleasant stay in an easy, friendly and nice atmosphere. Stayed there for one night when waking the Cotswold Way. The breakfast was really nice, and the food was local with meat from the hosts farm. The location is really nice in the center of the village.

We booked in advance and thought we were going into the main restaurant but were shown into the bar instead, sometimes things work out for the best and this certainly did. The menu was quite extensive and although we had to wait it was worth it, the food was freshly cooked and very tasty, but the chips were simply the... More

This older property (and to be fair, everything in Chipping Campden is old) could use some fresh bedding materials, rugs, and mattress. The shower was very strange. It had a circular shaped tube door that went around you into a small area that was located at the end of a large tub. A large person would not be able to... More

Staying elsewhere in the village but came here to eat on the first night and enjoyed it so much we returned with friends on the next night. Extensive menu, generous portions, food very good and friendly service.

So welcoming, tucked up in the loft of the hotel with views out on the main street. Clean, tidy, great bathroom with brilliant water pressure for a lovely shower. Breakfast was the best porridge I have had in years, must have had a tech of clotted cream in it!
