Fabulous! The cottage pie was wonderful. The tea was perfect. The scones were served warm. This was a real highlight. To top it off all the staff was lovely. Don't miss this place right on the High street. Also accommodated our large party. Perfect.

We love doing afternoon tea as a family and often find that splinky hotels just don't come up to the mark, so thought we'd try BADGERS HALL a high street (& let's face it Chipping Campden high street is a great high street!!) tea shop rather than a hotel. It was one of the best afternoon teas ever. Lovely fresh... More

Lovely room in a historic building on the high street of a lovely town. Breakfast great. Very expensive, though, even for the Cotswolds. Skimping on some details: quality of bathroom and towels, very sparse bookshelf. Nice collie dog, though he lacked confidence and at that price we would really have expected a labrador. One complaint: defective WiFi in the dining... More

We recently went to Chipping Campden for a two night break. Badgers Hall was well located for walking, sightseeing and dining out in the evening. Great welcome on arrival. Our bedroom was one of the best we have experienced in a B & B. Would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting the Cotswolds.

We had breakfast here on two days while staying at a cottage in Chipping Campden. The breakfast was cooked to order and very good. The scones and other cakes were freshly made and we could not resist having a cream tea.

My 2 sisters, my Mum and I stayed at Badgers Hall as a treat for our Mums birthday. On our arrival we were made to feel very welcome by the owner Karen. We enjoyed a complimentary cream tea which was delicious. Our rooms were extremely comfortable with everything we could of needed. We were free to come and go as... More

Stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday and we both loved it. Our hosts Karen and Paul couldn't have been more welcoming and along with all the other friendly staff really looked after us during our stay. The breakfast was lovely and good luck if you can resist the cakes! The scones and treacle tart (a personal... More

This bed and breakfast is very centrally located on the high street, with a very quaint British charm. The rooms are comfortable with what appeared to be relatively new mattress and shower - you just need to be mindful not to hit your head on the low beams. There are many choices for breakfast all of which we cooked freshly... More

So many people have written such glowing reviews so we must be in the minority. We just didn't enjoy staying here. It is a popular tea room that also has four guest rooms. The owners were friendly, but our room was cramped, noisy and exceedingly uncomfortable. We paid the same price as we had paid In a luxurious hotel in... More

Really lovely little tea room with a great selection of cakes and fantastic scones. Tea taster proper, and my coffee was great with a good cream on top. Staff were really nice and you could tell that the food was prepared and served with a generosity of spirit. I would recommend the chocolate curl cake. You can also sit outside... More
