From the moment of our warm and genuine welcome to Badgers Hall until we left, staying here made the entire weekend a delight. Our room was beautiful, with excellent facilities. Everything felt fresh, as though we were the first ever visitors and all was perfect. The breakfasts were beautifully cooked and exactly as we had requested. Even the slightly quirky... More

I love it! It's absolutely fantastic, the best cream tea I've ever had! A beautiful and friendly place where you can enjoy wonderful home-made cakes and huge scones. I do mean huge! The tea room is quite small so I would recommend reserving a table. Food is delicious and in winter you can sit by the fire!

Thank You, and I mean a huge thank you. For your information and others reading this, we are planning a make-over this winter. The tea room will become "the guest lounge" for our overnight guests. Afternoon tea will continue to be served at a much reduced level. Booking will be essential and sorry after 20 years of Lunches these will... More

Visited here yesterday. Beautiful quaint English Tea Room, wish we'd known you could stay here, it's beautiful! Spotlessly clean and very fresh food served by very nice staff and host. We had poached eggs toast, bacon and grilled tomatoes, English breakfast tea and a lovely smokey Lapsang Souchong. Absolutely gorgeous building just opposite the historic Chipping Camden Market Hall. We... More

My oldest friend has long waxed lyrical about the quality of the Bakewell Tart at Badgers Hall and so when we visited recently it was obligatory that we ordered one each. I was informed by him that the big decision was whether to order it cold or hot and in addition whether one accompanied it with cream, ice cream or... More

Very friendly welcome, and helpful hosts (particularly, if you forget your passport in the room, as we did!). It's a cozy room (we were in room 4), though mind your head because of the beams. It all feels very authentically historical, so the right place to stay for a Cotswolds experience. Lovely hot water from the shower. Absolute gorgeous breakfasts... More

My wife and I love a cream tea, so when we were in Chipping Campden recently we popped in to Badgers Hall for some scones and Tea. Now we have tasted Scones all over Britian and I can honestly say these were the best we have ever tasted. Homemade on the premises and absolutely delicious. The lunch menu looked very... More

This is a very little tea room we had heard good things about. We last minute decided to bring our dog so sat in the garden area instead of inside which is a nice little patio area. We ordered afternoon tea of 2 varieties between 6 of us (with a couple extra scones so we each had one!) and it... More

Today five of us came in for tea and cakes. My eldest son asked for the chocolate curl cake, but was told there wasn't any so chose treacle tart. I asked for a scone and was asked if I'd like jam and cream I said no cream thankyou just the butter and jam. To which I was told it didn't... More

Absolutely the worst accommodation. There was no soap, no tissues, one bottle of water the 5 days I spent. I was told by an employee to go buy my own at the store. Woman owner Karen incredibly defensive when we were locked out for over an hour one evening - the lock was defective but she denied it although the... More

Badger Hall came recommended from some family friends and the staff at Badger Hall did not disappoint. We had a few scones, some coffee and tea with a delicious, fresh strawberry milkshake for my daughter. Will come back here again for the trip is over.
