We didn't actually end up staying here- we were long booked as we were attending a party just round the corner. For various reasons the Noel Arms wasn't able to contact us to tell us that they had maintenance problems with our two rooms and had rebooked us in another hotel in a village about 4 miles away. Given that... More

This inn has seen it all, I think. Any time you're staying in an ancient (well, to a Yank, it's ancient) hotel, one must consider the history. And while I don't have any details, it's easy to say that the creaks and settlement are the result of centuries of service, no doubt to some very interesting people. We met some... More

Beautiful hotel in the heart of a beautiful village. Full of character, staff very attentive, especially the barman. Food was very good but a little on the expensive side, as was the wine. Had a comfortable nights sleep and a very good breakfast in the morning. Would like to come back for a leisure break at some point.

We stayed here overnight before starting the Cotswold Way walk. The hotel is on the High Street in Chipping Campden. Reception staff were efficient and friendly, advised us where to park the car for the 10 days we were walking the Cotswold Way. We had asked for a quiet room and were situated at the back of the hotel overlooking... More

Second visit and was disappointed with the room allocated on arrival. Room overlooked the kitchen area and was noisy. Room was very hot so had to have both windows fully open. Restaurant staff were very helpful and the sirloin steak was very nicely cooked as was the scallops.

Cosy hotel all round, nice restaurant, good food, wine expensive, but hey, you don't do this every week, room on the small side (14) not much room for clothes but all in all we enjoyed our break, guy on reception friendly, not sure of his name but think he may have been of Italian extraction ,

Stopped in here while sightseeing around the area. Very quaint little village and this was a great place to stop for a pint.....or 2. Nice little patio area around the back. Bar service could have been a little friendlier. Enjoyed the setting and the atmosphere outside on a nice Summer day.

Room was tatty and tired looking and certainly overpriced. Carpets in reception/lounge are wrinkled and threadbare. Hotel in general is neglected as they have captive audience because of the location. Person taking breakfast order was so miserable!

We stayed in the 1657 room for one night. The room was lovely and the bed was incredible! Breakfast was very well cooked. There was also a good atmosphere in the terrace in the afternoon/early evening for drinks. Service was attentive but unobtrusive - every member of staff we encountered was friendly and welcoming. We look forward to returning. Thanks... More
