Our stay here was a delightful experience. Owned and run by a lovely young couple, one the chef the other front of house. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing. Breakfast was superb and included in the very reasonable price. Little details like fresh milk in the room a bonus. Highly recommended.

We booked to stay here to celebrate my birthday. As soon as we arrived we got a very warm welcome and was shown to one of the courtyard rooms. The room as immaculate and finished to a high standard. We had booked a table in the restaurant when we booked the room and were glad we did. We went for... More

Stayed here first weekend in August. We stayed in the suite and it was wonderful. Great decor loads of space with an amazing bathroom. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was superb. This place is in a great spot for discovering beautiful Cotswold villages. Would definitely return. Soon hopefully.

We arrived late, September evening but warm enough for people to be sitting out front albeit with the insurance of an open fire. That was the positive first experience. Check in was easy. Room cosy and well equipped. Just what you need after a long journey. I seem to recall the wifi not being very good and nobody offered me... More

We've been trying for a while to find a pub within reasonable distance of Stratford-on-Avon to stay the night after a matinee - and now, this is it! It's about 15 miles from SonA and yes, it is by a road but, from our courtyard room we had no problem with noise - and I'm a light sleeper. A tiny... More

Four of us stayed with many years of experience of travelling and staying in hotels around the world. We were unanimous in our conclusion that we have never stayed anywhere where the expression "service with a smile" was more appropriate. The staff are clearly happy in their jobs and this is evident in their treatment of guests. We booked one... More

I visited as a last minute booking and I was very impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. My room was nicely furnished, but it was a very hot day so it was incredibly stuffy. The windows were open and there were a few flies in the room which is not great. Also, the road is pretty busy... More

Friendly greeting on arrival. We stayed in the suite on the first floor of the main house. The room was well equipped however we were not aware the pub is adjacent to a busy main road which was much in evidence. Our evening experience was great ;the salmon cerviche and stuffed mushroom starter, cod and lamb mains were beautifully prepared... More

Dear pugwash26, Thank you for taking the time to review and we're really pleased you enjoyed dinner with us. We will apologise that breakfast took 30 minutes to reach you, occasionally we have a large number of our guests come down for breakfast at the same time. When this is the case, there is a small delay as all of... More

Having gone on bookings.com and found a room available at The Seagrave and then phoning direct to confirm the room had an en suite bathroom (proceeding to book over the phone) I was somewhat dumbfounded to arrive the following day after a very long journey to be shown a small room with a shower !! Very cagey staff who spun... More

Dear Sallyanne E, Thank you for taking the time to review the Seagrave on TripAdvisor. We do feel it pertinent to respond to you in full truth, as we had already whilst you were here. You had rung our central reservations line, which is a new concept, obviously with a few teething problems. You booked our last room, which is... More

We are always looking for UK getaways where we can bring our dog (and best friend), so The Seagrave Arms caught our attention. We booked a room (for £61 - absolute bargain for B+B) and arrived on August 17th 2016. We were warmly greeted by a lovely lady - I think I heard her say her nam was Simone...but huge... More

Dear FayRR, Thank you ever so much for your wonderful review. We're delighted to read of your enjoyable stay with us. Our 2 dog friendly courtyard rooms are great for bringing your best friend along to stay with you, and the whole team love it when we have dogs to stay, I think they get more fuss than the guests....
