Wasn't happy with the room or facilities went to reception for the second time the receptionist was really good and very pleasant and understanding gave me another room which was...

Having looked at the reviews online I was slightly curious about where I was due to be staying while away on business. But when you get inside and into your room you soon start to see what a hidden gem this place is. Yes it's a little dated but it's a listed building and I think people don't understand that....

Took my girlfriend for a birthday meal. After tens minutes of picking what to eat we were then told they didn't have certain things on the menu. This resulted in us not ordering a starter. We did order chicken skewers only to be told they ran out of hot sauce also. The mains we did order were nice, ordered the...

Being from Doncaster originally myself, I picked this hotel due to its location and also because it used to have a good reputation. When we arrived at the hotel there was no one on the reception (infant there was no around at all) and we were left waiting to checking in for some time. When we were finally given out...

This place has had a fair number of negative comments, in my opinion undeserved as I found it excellent value for money, quiet and perfect for my needs. Large room, excellent modern bathroom, comfy bed, toiletries, clean linen, bottled water and biscuits and free internet. Free parking on-site. "What's not to like" as they say. I was facing the rear...

On arriving at the hotel there had been a mix up (our end) with the booking and the staff were more than happy to help rectify and upgrade us to a modernised double. Spacious room with an inviting (sadly unused) spa bath. Some road noise but for a single night not a problem. Breakfast was good, staff fantastic and interesting...

Hotel is on a main route into Doncaster and is a grade 2 listed building. We and another couple had booked 2 standard rooms for 6 nights. we found the Standard rooms are very small except one. Cleanliness was below the requirement we would expect of a 3 star hotel-net curtain on window very dirty. Floor boards squeaked a lot and...

The room we had was very good, at the front of the hotel with a king size comfortable bed, a large bathroom with a large jacuzzi in it. The small bar area was good and they had no problem taking up a bottle of wine to the room. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Just over the road from...
