I would not recommend. We are just back from The Regent after staying 1 night (visiting Doncaster Races). It is everything that its website states, on the edge of town, across from a pretty tree lined square. Its also on a busy main road. First impression on entering the hotel is that its Reception is very dark and dismal. The...

Room was as loud as being in the disco downstairs. No chance of getting to sleep. Bathroom was dirty & small Breakfast was greasy and bland. No parking, don't believe them when they say there is on street parking! A couple who we attended the wedding with us, also had their room given out to another guest after they reserved...

Fabulous food and amazing staff. Despite being deservedly busy the staff are never too busy to discuss things with you. Brilliant service, great fresh food, plenty of variety. Lovely atmosphere. Big thanks xx

Visited to spend a special occasion- a walk down memory lane. The hotel doesn't disappoint. Warm and friendly staff, clean and comfortable hotel with a spacious room nicely decorated with big bath towels ( it's my thing!). To complete the boutique type hotel I suggest biscuits, decaf coffee and nice toiletries in the room. My only gripe is the price...

Just visited for a Friday/Saturday night to attend Doncaster races. Booked 2 rooms for ourselves and friends. Standard room was really nice although view of the car park was not very desirable. Would of loved a room looking out onto the square but maybe these are upgraded? Slept well and found staff very attentive. We ate in the bar on...

Very close to the town centre, we went for a family wedding, the food was lovely. Reception staff very welcoming on arrival and staff especially Michelle very good. Car parking was easy to find. Rooms very clean, view from bedroom window was over a lovely park. Breakfast was great and very hot, would highly recommend the full English breakfast.
