We stayed just the one night unfortunately, I wish we had the time to stay longer. It is a very nice hotel, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We came from Stirling and were looking forward to a comfortable room and facilities and we were not disappointed. We had dinner

My wife and I booked into Lancaster House owing to its proximity to the Lake District. I was due to ride the Fred Whitton bike ride, and it was the closest and best-priced spa hotel we could find; we were not disappointed. Staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Rooms were

Comfortable room, decent breakfast, reasonable dinner. Not too far off M6 and plenty of parking.Easier access via J33 as it saves going through Lancaster coming south. They have a leisure club but we did not use it.

Dear oldmanleslie, Thank you for providing feedback on your recent stay here at Lancaster House. I am sorry that you did not feel that the Steak Burger was overpriced, I have discussed this with our Head Chef Damien and asked that he reviews this dish both in terms of pricing and quality as although by no means cheap at £16.00 this price is calculated on the basis that we make these using Sirloin Steak and as I am sure you can fully appreciate this costs considerably more than the standard minced beef used in a normal burger. Thank you for your feedback which will, i assure you be used as you have intended to improve the offering for all of the guest that we look after. If you would like to discuss this further please do not hesitate to contact me directly at the hotel. Kindest Regards Andy Lemm General Manager
