We visited on Easter Sunday with a very big group of us and the service as well as the food was wonderful. The portions were massive and everyone went away stuffed. Plus they had a tasty, filling and creative vegan option for me. Thank you to the lovely waitress too, I didn't

Thank you for that, I will find out who was on and pass on your comments. I believe it would be Annie or Kat, they are both great, in fact, all our team members are fantastic. Chef Gary does produce an amazing Sunday lunch. Please call again soon. Take care Kim Robinson

Excellent location. We were initially disappointed to hear we wouldnt be getting a full english breakfast (despite the photos we'd seen on google) however we did end up eating our evening meal there (bad weather) and i can say everything we ordered was excellent . Staff very

Thank you for your lovely review. Sorry about the 'no cooked breakfast', we experimented for a few weeks a couple of years ago but not many people wanted it therefore it was not viable for us to continue. I think the pictures on Google must be customers from that time as we now only ever advertise continental. We would love for you to stay again so please do return soon. Take care Kim Robinson

Stayed for two nights. Very welcoming staff Was shown to our room rather than just left to find it. Stayed in room 1. Large room and a very large bed. Clean linen and towels. I would just like to make a couple of suggestions, it might be better to put the hairdryer in one of

We would love to have you stay again, and thank you for the great review. I take on board the lack of a shelf in the shower cubicle. We have looked at various different options rather than drill into the tiles (as such shelves often work loose), however because of the shape of our showers nothing to date has worked. We will keep on looking though. We leave the hairdryer in the bathroom as in most rooms they don't fit in any of the drawers, though in room one they would fit in the wardrobe drawer but might not be noticed. Thank you for your thoughts though, suggestions are always welcome. Take care Kim Robinson

Visited Lancaster for the day with my Mum and we were looking for somewhere to eat when we stumbled upon the Royal. We popped inside to view the menu as there wasn’t one on the entrance (adding one would be a good call) the menu was extensive and all sounded amazing and very

The rooms are very nice. Ours was small but very comfortable. Great shower. The continental breakfast is basic but plentiful. Surprised that there wasn't any croissant or smoked salmon, but has pretty much everything else. However you really should only stay hear if you intend

Thank you for taking the trouble to write a review. Please accept our apologies if you found the music invasive, we do not put music on very often, however always at New Year, during Lancaster Music Festival for 4 days in October, once or twice a year by request for a special event and for the first time, this Easter Weekend. Unfortunately being situated in Lancaster City Center, like nearly all the City Center hotels, we don't have much parking and guests have to rely on the nearby council car parks. I have spoken to housekeeping who send their apologies for the lack of coffee pods as they had run out and not received a delivery but say they had left extra instant coffee packs to compensate. They also apologise for not replacing the towels you left out, normally they do not replace them for a 2 night stay and so they were over-looked. I hope that you have not been put off staying at our hotel as we do our best to make all guest as welcome as possible. There are rooms on the top floor which are quieter and if you were to ring ahead we can sometimes depending on availability, find one or two parking space. Assuring you of our best intentions. Take Care Kim Robinson
