Another great stay at the Wagon and Horses. Lovely room, immaculately clean and comfortable. Very welcoming staff and excellent food. Dinner and breakfast were very, very good. Slight issue with noisy kitchen extractor fan outside bedroom window but otherwise really good.will definitely be back.

Excellent food in a great location. Lovely staff and made us feel very accommodated. I had the chicken which was excellent. The cheesecake I shared with my balding companion. He enjoyed getting out for the day . I shall be bribing him back soon.

I'm loath to write this having read all it's excellent reviews. After all it's why I picked it . My room was small. The twin beds were small enough to make turning over dangerous. The room was like a sauna and seemed impossible to turn the heating any lower. Room number one has a view of the wall out of...

Went for a meal with family , no small children , on Saturday night . The pub was busy and had a good feel . Service excellent, small wait but meals were obviously freshly cooked. Perfect sized portions and a good choice .Something for everyone. Staff helpful and polite . Would recommend.

Stayed just one night while on business in Lancaster - a refreshing alternative to the corporate blandness of standard hotels! Excellent rooms, if a little small, but OK for one. Good beers and a nice pub atmosphere - didn't eat here but the food looked good. Will return again!

I wanted to see a bit of Lancaster and catch up with a friend there and settled on Wagon and Horses. It's within easy walking distance of the train station. I arrived around lunch time and was immediately invited to leave my rucksack and invited for lunch. The restaurant is as good as its location. The room was clean and...

You know, having visited this fine establishment on numerous occasions, it never ceases to hit the mark. I don't have a huge appetite so a combination of the small bites of scampi & gyoza were perfect, but that's not the real high. The service; don't know who does the recruiting but what a fab job they do! The team are...

We had a delicious meal here to celebrate a family birthday. The food was outstanding, in choice, variety and quality. The service was a little slow as they appeared to be short staffed but was very courteous and helpful.
