Decided to visit again after a few months. The food was nice, however, it was ruined by one arrogant, rude and obnoxious member of staff. Will not be returning anytime soon. Maybe the management would benefit from teaching their staff some manners.

We went to the Stork Inn on Sunday as we are staying at Thurnham Hall! The food is quite expensive, and not the best I have tasted, but the staff were friendly! The pub seemed to be more dog friendly, than it was child friendly, as there were no high chairs, or children's menu offered! Not the worst place I've... More

The staff were lovely, very attentive, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Food was really lovely. I had a jacket potato and beans and it came with a beautiful salad.I friend had a sandwich and it came with chips in the same beautiful salad. The top snug as been furbished and it was beautiful. We used to come... More

It's been a year since my last visit & how things have changed! The place has gone to the dogs - literally! I don't expect to share my dining space with a pair of 4ft tall Irish wolfhounds, and although the owner pulled their dripping noses away from our plates we could still smell the dogs. Poor Mez was put... More

The Stork Inn used to be a destination venue with an eclectic and unusual menu, and it was with this in mind that my good friend decided to arrange a visit with her parents who were visiting from the continent. The pub is situated in a lovely area, but it would appear that the current owners are resting on their... More

I'll start with the title of my review. Poor wheelchair access. No ramps and the only area near the entrance that is accessible is dark and dingy looking, not in keep with the rest of the pub and needs brightening up/a little modernising. So too access the rest of the dining areas my family member had to get out of... More

It is such a shame that the Stork seems to be struggling at the moment and in need of some investment. The countryside around here is beautiful but doesn’t attract high volumes of visitors. From the front of the inn you can watch waterfowl on the little River Conder as it winds through the salt marsh to the Lune. Inside,... More

We visited for a couple of nights at 'hidden deals' price which was a bargain. Room 2 is 'bijou ' but sufficient for a couple of days away. Clean and comfortable with complimentary beverage tray. The access is not suitable for those with mobility issues. It is an old building with steep narrow stairs designed for the size of people... More

We sat in the garden for lunch. All tables had an umbrella & all furniture was newish, clean and in good repair. My husband chose chicken, ham & leek pie & I chose the steak & ale pie. Both were delicious as were the perfect chips. Our chosen drinks were similarly good. I'd recommend lunch here anytime
