Food not great - long wait and service not great. We only ordered sandwich sbs chips so not difficult to get wrong but it was busy so I guess ... Playground fab. Garden fab. Nice choice of beer and wine. Fingers crossed it's a one off and improves as I love this place.

Friday 1 July my partner and myself assaulted by one of the locals - wouldn't recommend if it was the last place on earth. The landlord and land lady showed no compassion for our safety or health and left us to sort ourselves out.

Service - fine, some of Our food was good (starters and my lasagne in particular) but my Husbands steak pie had very little steak In it and was Quite dry - and frozen chips which I always think is a shame.... Stopped for lunch on a sunny Monday afternoon. First time we have been since the new owners had taken over. Food a lot better than the last owners and the staff were very obliging. Will certainly return

It's great to see it back on track. We had a week's holiday in Lancaster and came three times, once for a pint on a long coastal walk, once for a full meal with my cousin and... More
