I had a Buy a Gift voucher and used it for a short break at this hotel. The room was average and the stay was slighty uncomfortable due to the radiator being so hot in the bathroom and it wasn't possible to turn it down (even the maintenance tried). No lifts so not easy for 2 women carrying luggage up several flights of stairs. First night there the bar and inhouse restaurant were shut due to staff illness and no one to cover. Breakfast cost was an extra but a good choice on offer and well cooked. Hotel was quite close to shops, cafes etc.
We stayed for 2 nights starting 21st February. We used our buyagift voucher which I was bought for my 40th birthday. On arrival the man on reception was quite blunt. There was no niceties. He just stated we owed a supplement of £20 per night as it was Friday and Saturday and car park was £5 a night. He then tried to sell the breakfast. Not a great start as we were unaware of supplement when we booked it over the phone. He seemed uninterested that we were not informed and we paid the additional £50. However, after a rocky start I have to say the hotel is clean, comfortable and the customer service from both ladies in reception was amazing during our stay. The bed was comfortable and room just the right temperature. The town is 10 minutes walk away to shops, bars and restaurants. We didn’t use our car the whole time we were there. We had a great stay in a great well located hotel. Leamington spa is beautiful and worth a visit. The room needed some TLC but this didn’t effect our stay. A welcome back with information in the room would have been helpful. My only advice is to arrive early before the lovely ladies leave reception for the night! …
A friendly, well run hotel in a great location. Excellent places to eat nearby. We had a great time and would happily stay again. A minor problem with the room was swiftly fixed and we were upgraded. Thank you.
Kelly and Julie are a credit to the hotel with their warm and friendly manner.. stayed for our 30th wedding anniversary.. Picked the Superior room but unfortunately it wasn't. Bathroom is very small with a door you cant open properly due to a hook hitting the mirror behind the door. Was quite dusty ... just needs abit of TLC... the restaurant . Food was amazing... all fresh food and the waitress was one of the most happiest people I have had the pleasure of meeting .. we would travel their again just for the food . Looking through other reviews someone else mentioned the same issues for room 3 so maybe management need to address them or make the room a standard
The hotel, situated near the centre of town, is a clean, comfortable and pleasant venue. Staying for one night prior to work conference, I found the staff to be excellent hosts. Having a few drinks in the well appointed bar. I had the pleasure of talking with the owner, what a nice gentleman, trying the best to please the clientele. This can be seen throughout as the hotel has gone through a recent refurbishment and this could be seen in my clean and well furnished room. Buffet style breakfast was adequate and again staff here superb. With no doubt, I will stay again when in area.
