Visited Bartle Hall as I had heard rave reviews about the food. I was seated in the nest by the window with a nice view. However unfortunately I noticed a few dead flies on the windowsill and cobwebs on the ceiling, this was disappointing as the food was excellent and great service from the waitress. I enjoyed my visit but...

Me and my friend stayed in this hotel in February 2017. We stayed in The Balmoral Cottage suite in the hotel. The en suite room was very comfortable and was perfect for an overnight stay. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and consisted of various fresh juices, cereals and a full English with tea/coffee and toast too. The staff...

We stayed for three nights, the first night we had an issue with the bathroom which we reported to staff and this was resolved instantly without any fuss and we were upgraded to an Executive room which was fabulous. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of choice but the dinner was a bit of a disappointment due to a lack...

Just within a few miles of where we live, we have discovered this gem of a restaurant - intimate surroundings, nice staff, but most importantly, a sophisticated menu and food cooked to a extremely high standard. Fresh ingredients combined to create an experience that belies the prices. The Nest Restaurant has a top chef who knows exactly what he is...

Choosing the right wedding venue is critical, especially in winter months. Bartle Hall turned out to be the perfect place for a family wedding. The whole day ran quite seamlessly, from the moment the guests arrived, watching the bride make her beautiful appearance, the wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast, right through to the early hours ! The staff were so well...

We stayed over on our way to The Lakes. A windy road off the M6, but a very pleasant hall and grounds, even though it was raining. The staff were very good. Exceptional, in fact. The room was pleasant. The only negative point was that the bathroom was cold, but you don't notice once in the bath/shower. We dined in...
