Marriot have to be celebrated for creating this monument to 1970's style decor and hotels. Kudos to them for resisting temptation to spend any money on upgrading this hotel. From the original 'gaffer tape' joining on all the carpets, to the 70's decor and the untouched

Booked here at short notice and so took what room was available for the night. This was a small but adequate double room, with work desk, dresser, closet, tea/coffee making supplies (full-sized mugs!), and an armchair and small table next to the window. Clean and comfortable.

How much would it cost in a taxi to get to Blackpool pleasure beech ?
I drove everywhere as I was pregnant at the time but its a 20 minute drive away to the beach if I can remember so probably better to stay at the pleasure beach if thats where you want to go.

Hi, I can't answer your first questions but I wouldn't get too excited about the pool / spa area. It's a hotel first with a spa tacked on, small pool, steam room and I think a couple of treatment rooms. I didn't have a gown in my room but you were given a towel to use.
