This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this hotel. Overall, I really can't complain for the price-the staff were helpful and friendly, the whole hotel was smart, clean and modern and the food was very good. The breakfast is included in the price and is a full English, with plenty of cereal, croissants, juice, bread etc-which is superb. When... More

Works were getting done to the hotel when we stayed, this did not cause any discomfort during our stay. We ate at the restaraunt, food was good but no draught beer on tap for our visit. Good location for the city centre.

This was alright but not the best. Service was not all that either. The rooms were cold and room service was late. Well I must say travel lodge is much better and cheaper. I went for a night away from home with my partner. Thought wed spend some time alone and enjoy but was the opposite as the night got... More

We came with the expectation of a great family get together after our 50th wedding anniversary. There was 18 of us that booked in. The location was exactly what we wanted but that was the good point! When we arrived we were disappointed although it was the coldest night the rooms were cold and we had a problem to get... More

I would have to agree with the previous review this hotel has potential but is seriously flawed in so many ways! Firstly this hotel is just rebranding to Park Inn Birmingham Walsall so some signs are for Ramada Encore and some are Park Inn. Rooms are okay and good value if you get a good deal - we stayed on... We booked this hotel as it was simply the cheapest in the area at the time - 2 months before we stayed. (cost was only £34 per night though would have shot up to around £129 if booked nearer the time - way overpriced). The room was of an excellent standard with very modern/stylish fittings. We were missing the cot... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night in december and was very impressed by the level of cleanliness. Super sparkly clean shower and crisp white sheets on the bed. Very pleased with price and breakfast was fine. continental with a bit of scrambled egg thrown in. We had a double room and cost was under 50 pounds. We also heard... More

Stayed for one night. Online booking website states asy access to NEC....hahah. Took 2 trains to NEC and airport, not a straightforward change of train...... got lost. Not the safest way to travel in Brum. Breakfast was awful, luke warm, poor quailty bacon and sausages and not enough for everyone. Waiter took ages to refill hot trays. Only put out... More

I think this hotel has been unfairly judeged in the past. Here is what I think: Rooms - I stayed in a family room which had a double bed, sofa, LCD TV, writing desk, beautiful lamps, walk in beautiful modern shower. Room very clean very modern very snazzy. Laminate flooring adds to cleanliness feel. Airconditioning - available in all rooms.... More

I stayed in this hotel on a business trip. The hotel itself is fairly pleasant although it is located next to Walsall football club. The rooms are clean and modern but are definitely more appropriate for a 1 night business stay rather than a weekend break hotel. The service in the restaurant however was terrible. We had to wait 15... More
