It's the last place that gets booked up in an area where hotel accommodation is in high demand - which is the only reason I went here as I needed a room last minute and this was all there was. Basic compared to what else is on offer nearby, and expensive for what it is, but more than passable. Friendly... More

It was lovely to be met and helped out of the taxi. When we entered the restaurant we sat in a beautiful lounge and had one of the best bloody marys ever although at £25 a shot I would expect nothing less. The decor in the restaurant was a disappointment. Not as spectacular as Luton hoo or as romantic as... More

The hotel is really dated and needs completely ripping out, but for £50 a night I found it convenient to get to and from the actual "Grove" hotel for a conference. They wanted about £200 for one night at the venue, hence my choice to stay elsewhere. Don't expect anything other than a bed, even the shared bathroom only had... More

I spent one night here at the very begining of March 2014. The hotel or guest house is about a ten minute walk to Watford town centre or about the same distance to Bushey tube station. My room was a double room, basic and not an on suite room but there was a shower, bath & toilet next door to... More

Stayed over 4 nights. All the staff were really nice and friendly. All the requests I asked before coming it have been done. Really close to town (10 min by walking) and to watford high street (tube)...so in 40 min you can get London....magic!

I travelled there on business - just for 1 noght & I WILL NEVER RETURN! The clue was there; when I arrived to find the place surrounded by a 6 foot wrought iron fence. I parked my car, entered reception and waited for 15 minutes only to be greated with"is that your Jag outside?" Replying yes - I was told... More
