I had my wedding here on Saturday 30th July 2016 and I can't thank the hotel staff enough for everything they did for us from arranging early check ins, arranging travel cots last minute, they thought of every detail. The day ran so smoothly, the food was lovely, we had an amazing day. The bridal suit was a lovely room... More

We booked this hotel 7 months in advance to attend a wedding at Hayle place ! When we arrived the receptionist was on the phone & the manager doing paperwork! We were left waiting to check in in a very narrow entrance with people going to and fro !! On checking in we were told there was a wedding taking... More

There are a lot of complaints on here about the age of the hotel and it's general outdated decor. This doesn't bother me, look at the photos of the hotel prior to booking at it, don't complain about it after. It is outdated but it's incredibly comfortable. For a hotel like this and at its price I only expect a... More

We arrived at the hotel, the welcome was "name" the receptionist checked it on the computer, then the lady said that will be £xxx. I asked to see the room and she was very "put out". Why do you want to see the room as all our rooms are nice, I said that I would like to see where I... More

As a solo female traveller who recently suffered an accident, the staff here were extremely accommodating. Room was clean and airy, breakfast delicious and staff brilliantly helpful. Thanks to Chantelle who ran everything well on the night I visited and going beyond the call of duty.

The Hotel is quite dated and the food was not great, but the location is quite convenient for Maidstone. The whole area including the bar at the Hotel had a very England for English only feel, so if you're a tourist from abroad I thing you would be a lot safer staying elsewhere you will not feel welcome at all... I really struggled during my stay to decide if I liked this hotel or not and in the end have given it 3/5. This hotel has so much potential with friendly staff, ample character and reasonable room rates. However, it is sorely let down by the lack of renovation for many years. The rooms are tired and beds need updating.... More

We stayed here 24th June 2016, I well remember the journey from Nottingham to Maidstone took us a laborious 5 1/2 hours, the traffic was terrible, we telephoned ahead and chef kindly stated he would prepare meals for us if we didn't get there before he left, such a kind gesture. We did arrive in time to be fed and... More
