The Hotel is quite dated and the food was not great, but the location is quite convenient for Maidstone. The whole area including the bar at the Hotel had a very England for English only feel, so if you're a tourist from abroad I thing you would be a lot safer staying elsewhere you will not feel welcome at all... I really struggled during my stay to decide if I liked this hotel or not and in the end have given it 3/5. This hotel has so much potential with friendly staff, ample character and reasonable room rates. However, it is sorely let down by the lack of renovation for many years. The rooms are tired and beds need updating.... More

We stayed here 24th June 2016, I well remember the journey from Nottingham to Maidstone took us a laborious 5 1/2 hours, the traffic was terrible, we telephoned ahead and chef kindly stated he would prepare meals for us if we didn't get there before he left, such a kind gesture. We did arrive in time to be fed and... More

I got a letter through MY door because my workmates was rude and inappropriate when they went for food. The rooms was well pants, the overflow pipe on the toilet... More

Staying here is like going back in time. Old bed, shower head way too low, tiny shower cabin, separate taps, ... You really get what you pay for. The service was very friendly though.

I had a large 2 bed room and like all the hotel it was perfectly ok and I could stay again. But its not been refurbished for a long time and feels a bit worn. But its a good price so I have no complaints. Dinner+breakfast average too. Staff helpful. Its an easy 5 min bus ride from the centre

Bedrooms are very dated..very 70's and room we were in was very small. Bed was ok but pillows were awful. On arrival there was a gaggle of woman near reception swearing etc. As I turned round I realised that they were actually members of staff! Not a good 1st impression at all. We were woken a couple of times by... More

Dear butterflymama, Thank you for taking the time to write your review, I am disappointed that your stay was less than satisfactory. Our rooms are of traditional character and are also of varying sizes, some are standard and some are very large. The bedrooms have the benefit of having new bathrooms and shower rooms which has been an ongoing renovation... More

'tudorish'-four poster beds.(in some places)-quite authentic, unique. In the 'main' part-used as a 'wedding' venue also,I hear. There is something about it that is quite 'testing',testing-rather 'special' Great parking-which is ideal.CCTV Lovely view of Kentish Country-side.Gardens. Though if there is a 'venue'-they kindly put you in another place-just a short walk from main part.(average part)-usual sundries-very yummy? Good to get your... More

I organised a black tie charity event at the Grange Moor Hotel Last Saturday. I have to say that every member of staff I either spoke to on the phone or met during my numerous visits were polite and very professional. They all had a 'can do' attitude and nothing was too much trouble. Special mentions for Debbie, Michael and... More
