We’ve just had two lovely nights at this B and B and they really put themselves out to accommodate us as vegans for the tasty breakfasts, almond milk in the fridge and even a little tub of vegan cookies. Many thanks.

We visited South Lodge to attend a night at The Stables. The lodge was near to the venue so was very convenient. It was warm and welcoming. Julia explained all the switches etc. in our lovely room. It was immaculate and modern. Our breakfast was good. Just what we had asked for. We would recommend the Lodge to anyone and look forward to another stay.

We stayed at South Lodge in Room 3. Beautiful room and quality bed and furniture. The bed is massive and comfortable even for my husband who is over 6’, to the extent we may have to buy the same mattress. Excellent bathroom with couples bath we didn’t have time to try but we definitely hope to come back. Our daughter lives in Woburn Sands 5 mins away so ideal. Breakfast in the room is great and we definitely did it justice. Out and about is Bletchley Park which is really interesting and definitely recommend Wavendon Arms. Large settee, comfortable chairs and big tv all contributed to a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Thank you for taking the time to write a thorough and lovely review, and thank you for mentioning the bed in your room. It’s an odd size - a euro king which means 170cm wide. That means it’s also extra long so great for tall people! I would always suggest that prospective bookers contact us directly so we can find the perfect room for them, as they are all different. Anyway, thanks again, Best wishes Julia

If you want to make sure your special time in this area is properly supported by memorable accommodation the South Lodge ticks all the boxes. If on the other hand your in the area for business it is ideal as you will leave refreshed after staying in quality accommodation ready take on the challenges of the day. The owners produced a string of extremely helpful E Mails prior to my arrival so I knew exactly how to find the location and what to do when I arrived. The quality of the room is luxurious and special and I had an excellent nights sleep. Indeed it is the kind accommodation that encourages you to return for more than one night given you would be able to take advantage of the delightful patio area and the in room entertainment. The welcome at breakfast from the owner was warm and friendly and the breakfast itself of a very high standard, nothing routine about it indeed the entire experience was anything but routine. Ideal for both travellers and people on business needing all the mod cons in a luxurious quiet discreet setting.
