On an industrial estate far away from shops. No choice than to purchase drinks from the bar. £9.50 for a large g 'n' t. Extortionate or what? Ridiculous. Captive audience I think. Apart from that food and staff were ok except the last day of my stay which was chaotic at breakfast

Unfortunately I read some reviews before I got to the hotel and didn't hold out much hope. Happily the hotel was lovely, comfortable beds (and I am picky), fluffy towels, spotlessly clean room and everything we needed for a great stay. The food was very good (being vegetarian sometimes is a problem) and an effort had been made with the... More

Not an unpleasant stay, the spa is functional, expensive restaurant and bar, breakfast was ok, but favours large and infrequent service. The rooms are drab but bed was comfy. No aircon. Have stayed in worse, would use again.

Let me immediately explain that I had a three night visit with my wife on the hottest days of this Summer. The room temperature was such that a full, continuous nights sleep was difficult but the room was spacious, comfortable, well equipped and clean. The buffet style of breakfast and dinner was excellent in quality and choice. Every member of staff was efficient,friendly... More

After almost not being able to get there, we arrived quite late and the staff were absolutely wonderful! Really helpful and polite, both on the phone and upon arrival. The room was quite nice, the fact there was a plug socket by the dressing table was brilliant, most hotels we have stayed in don't do that, which is crazy. The... More

Stayed here with the boyfriend last weekend during a short get away to try out indoor skydiving. The room was nothing special, it was a little on the small side and all the furnishings seemed a little worn and dated, but it was clean and comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was so powerful! Which was a nice surprise, the... More

Have stayed at this hotel before on a promotional offer, had a lovely room and breakfast for two adults £75. This time, paid £110.00 and got room only, breakfast, if pre booked was £10.00 The room we got this time was half the size of the one we had before, maintenance was poor, tap on basin was loose and dripped,... They offer a choice of restaurants both of which are good. The food was fine and the service very friendly. They could improve the breakfast service. They were slow to replenish the self service breakfast buffet and ran out of yoghurt one morning! The room was clean and adequate.

Stayed here with my family, we had been on a 2 day National Holidays trip to Legoland and the Apollo Hotel was our accommodation for the night. The hotel is about 40 minutes from Legoland. Check in was easy and quick, however when we go to the room we thought we were put in the wrong room as there was... More
