I recently visited my son, who is at Uni in Bolton. I stayed at the Highgrove. Although only a short stay, I was made to feel very welcome. The single room was clean and a good size. Everything I needed, shops, bars and railway station were within walking distance. I would highly recomend and look forward to staying again in... More

The Highgrove Guest House is fabulous value for money. The single room I was in was very clean, modern and spacious with a good size ensuite. The owner is friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. The ambience is respectable and calm. It is within easy walking distance of the railway station, buses and the town centre. The journey to nearby Manchester... More

I would really recommend this B&B in Bolton it was down a hill to the traffic lights then along to the B&B a short walk on the opposite side of the road good stay but steep climb up to the bedrooms like all who has stayed here yes it friendly thanks too hope to stay again.

Lovely helpful people from start to finish. Room was spacious for 3 adults and oh so cosy. Beds dead comfy. Brill location, close to train, shops and nightlife.we were able to leave our bags before and after our stay, which was great. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

I stayed at the Highgrove Guest House in Bolton recently. It is approx 15 minutes from town centre, railway station and Grosvenor Casino, with Supermarkets less than 10 minutes away. The breakfast was high quality and I had a very pleasent stay. I would recommend the Highgrove to anyone having a trip to Bolton.

Stayed there last night and found the room clean, smart and comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in and for £30 per night for the single room it was more than worth it. I will recommend the guesthouse to anyone wishing to visit Bolton. I suggest you book direct with the owners as I booked through... More

Good points - neat room, close to railway station and town centre, around 30 pounds per night.. Would have given it 4 stars but for 1) one of those hard to control showers 2) linen past its expiry date 3) bathroom could be cleaner and 4) noisy in the morning as I was under the breakfast room (not a problem... Clean, Good Bed, Warm, Excellent Breakfast cooked by "Flower" never new her real name, what more could you ask. Paid a great deal more and got nowhere near the quality that you recieve here. If ever in Bolton well worth the money, only a few minutes walk from all the amenities of the City centre. Will definately stay again when... More
