Attempted to go for a late evening Sunday meal, got there at 6:45pm, my husband went to the bar and I got a table. My husband returned after a few minutes as the bar maid was taking a very long time with one particular customer, we looked at the menu and my husband returned to the bar to place our... More

I live local to this establishment, but have never popped in. However, whilst on a walk last week, I decided to try out their beverages & food. The quality of both was appreciated; especially when indulging in banter with a few of the local clientelle. One called Matt explained to myself that he was a roofer & proceeded to sing... More

This was our first visit and was truly delighted, the service was great didn't have to love from the table the barman looked after us brilliantly. The food was fantastic, cooked to perfection with a great choice of sides (choice of 3) included in the price, all in all we all had a great lunch, would definitely recommend

My friend and I visited for tea after work, nice simple decor in an old building..friendly staff..it was quite quiet. I enjoyed the food, it was very nicely presented, good portion side orders and my lamb chop was tasty. Hope to return with my hubby for huge pig out..simple good food

A very comfortable and friendly find. Our son needed to travelto Bolton at short notice and we were pushed as to finding him somewhere to stay. If we had known what a great find this was, we would have booked him in for the complete stay. Ian waited for our son to arrive, although this was after 11pm, made sure... More

Came for a family meal. The food was excellent and of very high standard..Not your bog standard pub grub. Friendly and prompt service by all bar staff especially the very friendly gentleman behind the bar who made sure that customers were seen to properly. We will be returning.
