What a lovely b&b. Stayed in Charolais suite with our two Newfoundland dogs. Hilary is a charming and welcoming host. The suite has a small kitchen if you feel like cooking but doesn't have a microwave or washing machine but is a great addition to your suite. Give Hilary your breakfast time and she delivers your tasty cooked breakfast to... More

We stopped here on our way to Scotland having visited relatives in Manchester. It was the perfect place after a long day. A few very helpful phone calls prior to our visit had made everything so much easier. The two rooms we had for the one night were adjacent to each other in a converted farm building. Lots of good... Hilary and her family make Quarlton Fold Farm a wonderfully hospitable Lancashire destination with spectacular views in country comfort. An English breakfast prepared each morning was served hot and delicious! Hilary's bubbly personality and attentive nature made our 3 day stay so very enjoyable. Her knowledge of the area were added bonuses that made us feel at home from the... More

Very roomy accommodation with breathtaking views. A full English breakfast was prepared by the owner in the farmhouse herself & brought to our self contained accommodation by her at a time to suit us, what more can you ask for? This was a one night stay on a motorcycle road trip & they were more than happy to provide dry... More

Stayed here 3 times up to now and as always good service from Hilary who makes you feel extremely welcome. Lots of good local pubs / restaurants to get something to eat if you don't fancy staying in and using the facilities provided .

Due to bad traffic our journey took us twice as long as expected but the owners were accomodating and hospitable despite our arriving much later than planned. We were a group of 5, and we stayed in the Angus and Charolais suites. Both were extremely clean and comfortable, and well equipped for our needs. Breakfast is brought to your room,... More

Had a 2 night stay here and everything was excellent. Gorgeous views and plenty of garden space to let our puppy have a run around in the mornings. Lovely breakfast brought to the door at a prearranged time. Would recommend the area and definitely Quartlon Fold Farm. Will be back when we venture back up north!

Three night stay in one of Hilary Ramwell's luxurious B&B studio rooms on the farm. Hilary was there to welcome us and also delivered our cooked breakfast to order every morning. The studio is self contained with ensuite shower room, very comfortable zipped together single beds plus breakfast bar, fridge, kettle and microwave. This was a great place to stay... More

I can find nothing negative to say about my stay. There was a warm welcome with a cup of tea in the garden overlooking the scenic valley. Beautiful rural location but not too far from Bolton. Very comfortable room with double bed. Kitchen area with fridge stocked with basic foods. Bowl of fresh fruit on the worktop. Tea and coffee... More
