On arrival and once we got past the high security entrance, will only allow you in if they have you on record, we were presented with a reception area that had a washing machine / clothes drier/ maiden/ prams/dirty clothes on the floor, shoes and baby buggies etc. No potted plants, nice pictures or leaflets of interesting places to visit... Only visit here if you like rubbish all over the street.rough looking people outside And inside the hostel( hotel). There's no drinks at the so called bar 😂 thinks it's used as A laundrette. Banging and knocking on doors all night. If you book they take your money before you get there. Door lock was hanging of the door.dirty stains... More

Booked this hotel online but when we got there we was told the booking was made for the previous day... After a lot of messing around we were given a room but had to pay again which meant we paid double as the website had taken payment too! The room was very basic. Not clean to the highest standards. The... More

Booked one day (web). They called the next day to apologise, and tell me they were actually fully booked. I thought this was actually very good customer service. They then called me again the day after, to tell me they'd made a mistake, and they did actually have a room free. I'd booked somewhere else by then. The morale of... More

Very basic, you only get what you pay for. Service with a smile but the other guests in the hotel were not particularly friendly. Walls paper thin & basic furnishings. The bathroom & WC facilities are shared on each floor with other guests. It served a purpose but I would not stay again.

Relatives came from abroad for wedding. Opted for Tramways. Major mistake. Can't use front door, constantly locked (rear door shabby and usually had a group of people gathered outside) Apparently some sort of half way house for migrants awaiting Home Office migration decision (This was here-say, but I wouldn't disagree). Room on top floor, no lift. Main downstairs room (??Bar)... More

I would not call this a hotel. The Tramways have a long way to go to be a hotel, we thought it was more of a hostel for DHS. Washing on radiators in hall, iorn and iorning board left in hall way, Fire doors jamed open. We found hairs on our bed sheets short and curly ones. We slept on... More
