Native Manchester is found in Ducie Street Warehouse in the heart of the city. Originally one of four iconic warehouses – and the only one still standing – this historic building was originally designed to store cotton bales from the US before they were shipped to London. We have transformed it into an icon for the modern era. Stay with us and discover wide columns, powder blue wrought-iron girders and brick barrelled ceilings. There are 166 apartments with 7 types to choose from, starting with a compact Studio to a spacious Penthouse Two Bed duplex apartment. While the premium options offer extra room and special perks, every apartment is surprisingly spacious and showcases impressive architectural features. Each apartment comes with its own fully equipped kitchen, lounge space and king-size beds. Many have loft-style ceilings with exposed beams. Native Manchester is great for groups who can book apartments connecting via a private outer corridor or interconnecting apartments adjoined by a two-way door in the living room. Some of the bedrooms even have zip and link beds to create a twin room. On the 7th floor are our luxurious two bedroom penthouse apartments that offer large private terraces and panoramic views of the city. With floor to ceiling windows, these enormous duplex apartments are a modern extension to the building’s roof and fill the space with natural light. On the ground floor is the independently run CULTUREPLEX, Manchester’s newest hangout and a community centre for a modern city. It’s a space for whatever you need: meeting people, watching films, taking classes, working, drinking, dining, anything. To the right of the entrance you’ll also find BLOK, a multidisciplinary workout space, renowned for fusing fitness with fashion, art and design. Whether it’s sunrise yoga or a killer cardio session – workout in style with BLOK Manchester. Native Manchester is just 100 yards from Manchester Piccadilly Train Station, and Manchester Airport is 9.9 miles away.

We stayed in the premium studio room which was fabulous! The room itself was spacious and had all the necessary appliances needed for a perfect stay! The kitchen had everything we needed and all the utensils included which was a bonus. The TV had cast which allowed for Netflix access, perfect for a movie night, not to mention the TV was huge! also had the option whether to sit on the sofa or watch it in bed. The room was soundproof could not hear a sound, apart from when people were coming in and out from the next apartment but this is expected and can't be helped. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back very soon! Thank you Native.

We met up in Manchester for a friends reunion and booked the newly opened Native and what a great experience. We arrived early - 11.00 and we greeted as we walked in, we checked in and they took our luggage and said they would call when the room was ready. Sure enough 15 minutes later we got a call to say the room was ready whenever we were. What a lovely surprise as we weren’t due to check in until 3.00pm. Amy on reception was friendly and helpful along with all the staff, we told her we had luggage and another Wow they said it was already in the room- fantastic service. The room was amazing, spacious with all mod cons including a dishwasher. The building was amazing a great piece of architecture with a lovely warm atmosphere. We will definitely recommend it as a great place to visit and stay
