#5 of 252 Specialty lodging in Greater Manchester
Travelers' Choice
Native Manchester is found in Ducie Street Warehouse in the heart of the city. Originally one of four iconic warehouses – and the only one still standing – this historic building was originally designed to store cotton bales from the US before they were shipped to London. We have transformed it into an icon for the modern era. Stay with us and discover wide columns, powder blue wrought-iron girders and brick barrelled ceilings. There are 166 apartments with 7 types to choose from, starting with a compact Studio to a spacious Penthouse Two Bed duplex apartment. While the premium options offer extra room and special perks, every apartment is surprisingly spacious and showcases impressive architectural features. Each apartment comes with its own fully equipped kitchen, lounge space and king-size beds. Many have loft-style ceilings with exposed beams. Native Manchester is great for groups who can book apartments connecting via a private outer corridor or interconnecting apartments adjoined by a two-way door in the living room. Some of the bedrooms even have zip and link beds to create a twin room. On the 7th floor are our luxurious two bedroom penthouse apartments that offer large private terraces and panoramic views of the city. With floor to ceiling windows, these enormous duplex apartments are a modern extension to the building’s roof and fill the space with natural light. On the ground floor is Ducie Street Warehouse, an all day hangout and a community centre for a modern city. It’s a space for whatever you need: meeting people, watching films, taking classes, working, drinking, dining, anything. To the right of the entrance you’ll also find BLOK, a multidisciplinary workout space, renowned for fusing fitness with fashion, art and design. Whether it’s sunrise yoga or a killer cardio session – workout in style with BLOK Manchester. Native Manchester is just 100 yards from Manchester Piccadilly Train Station, and Manchester Airport is 9.9 miles away.

I stay at Native one night per week and I love it because it's spacious, private and quiet upstairs but there is always something cool happening on the ground floor or on the rear terrace. The food is good and there's a wide range of cocktails if your interested. The staff are amazing to me and know exactly what to look out for especially Amy & Bonn who always ensure I'm booked in every week. Oh and the beds are a gateway to dreamland.....

Me and my partner stayed here for two nights last week and we had the most amazing time. The room and bathroom was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. Staff were also really friendly and helpful on reception. Only downside to our stay was the beds were a little firm for our liking but other than that everything was perfect!

Everything, and I mean everything was perfect, the facilities, the staff, location all made for the best weekend. We stayed for 3 nights in a loft apartment for our son's wedding which meant we could all be together. The renovation has been really sympathetically done, leaving lots of original features but also providing everything you need - a fully equipped kitchen, a ultra comfortable lounge area , massive and very comfy beds and a welcome pack of tea, coffee and milk. All the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. We would absolutely recommend a stay here and will be returning
