I was able to check in at 8am on the Hilton app, but then saw an email from 10pm the night before saying that my booking had been cancelled. Contacted the hotel who said that they had to close to become a quarantine hotel and that they would contact me back with details. Two hours later, I contacted them back and was told that all bookings had been cancelled and that central reservations should have contacted me (they hadn't). In the two hour wait for a call back, I had found alternative accommodation for that night (luckily there was room at the Premier Inn next door). There just seemed to be a mix of confusion and unhelpfulness from the Hilton. After my second call I received an email cancelling the booking and refunding the points used. Main issue is that i cannot believe that the hotel only knew the night before that they were becoming a quarantine hotel and so why did they not contact guests in plenty of time to arrange alternative accommodation? I was lucky, others might not have been.

We stayed here in early June 2021 before our trip to St Lucia. We arrived by train from Bolton which was so easy to do and less stressful than driving. on arrival we checked in quickly and was given our key. to our room in a matter of minutes. the staff were very pleasant and helpful The room was a good size nice comfortable bed good sized bathroom and shower was lovely. 2 x bath towels provideed which was enough for a 1 night pre holiday stay. view not up to much but we didnt care it was only for 1 night We had an excellent nights sleep Next morning we went to the restaurant for breakfast which due to covid is all ordered via a QR code reader which luckily we already had installed on our phones so I urge people to make sure they have a free one installed. The full english was ordered and arrived very promptly and was delicious. There are toasting facilities and cerals croissants etc available too This hotel is in an excellent location and you are at departures in 2 minutes. we loved it so much we are going back on holiday to St Lucia on 27th August 2021 so I have just booked to stay in The Hampton Hilton for the night before our flight on 26th August

Arrived during the heatwave and basking in the good aircon. The check in time has changed to 4PM and if you want to check in early then you have to pay £10. But since the lockdown has been lifted, masks are optional, and the buffet is back for breakfast (hooray). Zach was in the bar and made our stay comfortable with his knowledge of drinks and recommendations. A real assett to the hotel. The dinner menu was the same, but it was cooked to perfection and simona our waitress was brilliant and made sure our every whim was catered for. Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of choices from pastries to a full English. Costa is there as well with coffees and iced drinks however not much choose in food if you don't like cheese, but staff friendly and also there to help. On the whole a good stay guaranteed.

Stayed here overnight and was told that we could have breakfast or " sort something out" and never did had to go to WH Smith to get breakfast. Staff haven't a clue nor do the managers on shift one says yes we can sort something out and the other says no we cant

Room was perfect, room service was so quick and delicious, check in and out was smooth and they let me grab some cold breakfast to take away before my flight! The hotel was connected directly to the airport which was ideal as a solo traveller
