Hotel's Favorite
A short stay in order to meet family members on an early morning flight. Hotel is literally a few minutes walk from Gatwick's North Terminal and has its own designated spaces in the adjacent car park at a preferred rate. Excellent staff on reception for check-in made the process efficient and informative. Room was selected in advance using the Hilton app, so everything was ready and waiting for me. I had a corner room which as a little more space and a sofa bed if required. Room was well equipped and very clean with a walk-in shower (hurrah, how I hate climbing into those tub/showers); only negative is the weird creaking noise from the floor (others have commented on this), so could hear arrivals above and along the corridors; the noise was not overly intrusive but conscious of it as I walked around the room. Breakfast was adequate and plentiful; though over-diligent team member cleared away my coffee when I went to get my cooked breakfast, happily bought me another coffee to replace it. Very convenient location for LGW North, and excellent value for a short stay.

Stayed for one night prior to travelling to Greece via North Terminal Easyjet. The hotel entrance is inside the terminal on the same floor as EasyJet it couldn’t be better located, perfect. The hotel is Hilton’s budget range and has nicely appointed bed rooms . Stay included breakfast but due to early start passed on this. Will definitely return.

This hotel is situated in the north terminal on level one. You access it threw a tunnel walk way from the terminal. Excellent place, so close to the terminal you don’t have to go outside. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was also a good size. We also ate dinner in the hotel bar/restaurant food was really good, served quickly. Breakfast is a help your self buffet. Lots of cereals, fruits, pastries, toast, as well as a cooked breakfast. Plenty there to get you off to a good start to the day. Will definitely use the hotel again!

Noisy building site and rude staff. Needs refurbishment but not at the expense of customers and staff. Cheapskate management team who do not understand what a four star is supposed to deliver. Sofitel is so much better value and easy to commute from north to south terminal. I suggest you avoid this hotel it is a disgrace.

Dear Barry, Thank you for choosing Hampton by Hilton London Gatwick for your recent stay . Please accept my sincerest apologies for the encounters that you experienced during your stay with us. I was disappointed to hear of your experience with the staff and I have actually shared your feedback with the Operations Manager who in turn will address these matter with the team members. This is certainly not the type of experience that we expect our guests to encounter when they stay with us, this is not what we aim to deliver. With regard to the noise experience, you will of course be aware, that being located on the edge of the airfield, the airport operation does continue 24 hours a day and there is cargo operations which extend throughout the night with the baggage handling unit which is located adjacent to the hotel, Whilst we cannot overcome this completely, we do ensure that we keep their teams aware. With regards to the Brand , Hampton by Hilton is a 3 star Brand and not a 4 star brand. We strive to make each stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and we will use your comments in order to provide a better experience in the future.
