Close to gatwick Airport, and also not far from the South of England showground, surrounded by beautiful countryside. Many walks close by. The staff are delightful and do there upmost to be helpful. Recommended .

The reviews for this hotel are very mixed, and that's how we felt about our one night stay. Lovely building from the outside, very friendly welcome, and our twin bedded room, no 7 at the end was quiet, of a good size, and perfectly pleasant. But. My wife thought the bed was poor, I thought it fine but where we... More

Sitting in it's own grounds it is as pretty as a picture and so close to the M23 and Gatwick Airport without being affected by noise from either that it should be a sure fire winner. It is well signposted on the Tourist boards and it must once have been a very successful place. However, the investment seems to have... More

When arriving at the hotel it looks beautiful. We had a very friendly greeting by the man on the reception who was very helpful. I was a bit apprehensive about booking this hotel due to some of the reviews - I needed somewhere cheap to sleep after I went a party close by. Room was clean but could do with... More

I've used the regency several times from January to March while working in the local area. The staff are attentive and helpful and will go out of their way to help. The hotel itself is a very old fashioned place that reminds me of a grandparents house. The odd creaky floorboard, beams and dormer ceilings all add to the decor.... More

we hired the main room for a family function, 6 hours + buffet. Could not fault anything, food and service very good. We did not use the bedroom facilities but the room we used was an ideal size for the 80 of us

Upon arrival down a heavily potholed country road, disappointed with muddy 'truck stop' type rear car park. Luckily space appeared out front. Hotel and room rather run down , certainly not current chain standard. Pool would be a serious health issue... Needs sorting !! However, that said and done, the room was adequate, and certainly serviceable. Bedding, towels etc clean... More

Older style quant hotel which is very good value. If you prefer your clinically new rooms like Premier inn don't bother but this as I said does make a nice change. A few things needed like blackout blinds in the rooms ( I have stayed here more than once) but everything is OK. Nicest thing was that breakfast is served... More

My wife and I stayed 1 night ( thank goodness) as we were attending a family celebration at a local golf club with other family members. The hotel is run down and badly in need of some love, attention and over due refurbishment. A couple of plus points; Harry who welcomed us on our arrival and was very attentive attending... More

A period property with loads of charm. Rooms are a little tired and not sound proof. Great pleasant welcome. Breakfast was great. In a quiet location in a very busy area. I would stay again if in this area. A little difficult to find
