We stayed for three nights at "The Old Rectory" in Telford. We were immediately made very welcome by Adrian and Rosemary and treated to tea and home made cakes in the residents lounge. The garden is beautiful and guests are encouraged to enjoy it. There was a huge choice at breakfast, which included Rosemary's home made bread, jams and marmalade... More

Booked B&B for one night recently. We were well looked after by the owners with tea and cake on arrival and an excellent breakfast on the following morning. Very comfortable rooms with views over well kept gardens. Worth a visit if you require a base in or near Telford.

Simply superb. Adrian and Rosemary are wonderful hosts. And a lovely afternoon tea in their splendid garden. Very helpful about the local area. Very peaceful, and woke up to a superior breakfast. Room was terrific.

Loved The Old Rectory :- we were welcomed with a lovely afternoon tea - warm home made scones with home made jam and clotted cream, the most delicious fruit cake and a strawberries and cream filled Victoria sponge, I could feel the pounds going on but it was worth it. Our room and en suite shower room was spotlessly clean... More

Lovely home, beautifully furnished, with a fabulously well-kept garden. A superb afternoon tea on our arrival, and the best breakfast imaginable (particularly the eggs, happily donated by the hens in the garden). Rosemary and Adrian were wonderful hosts. Their recommendations of dinner venues were spot-on. Would definitely book to stay with them again.

Visited here recently as a party of 3. The house and gardens is beautiful and Adrian and Rosemary who run it were lovely and welcoming. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was delicious! Overall a lovely and peaceful place to spend the night. Would certainly recommend!

Enjoyed a very warm welcome with a delicious afternoon tea. Excellent location which is quiet with lovely gardens. Room was very comfortable and airy. The breakfast was fantastic with locally sourced produce. Adrian & Rosemary are perfect hosts and I look forward to a return visit in the near future.

What a find ! A beautiful home run by lovely welcoming hosts. The bed was comfortable the room a good size with fabulous en-suite. The Old Rectory is set in beautiful gardens and Rosemary makes her own jam to serve with the full English breakfast and home made bread for our toast. The old rectory is a large beautiful house and of very high standard. We had the twin room, which had fresh flowers on the table, was large and airy with a double aspect. The ensuite looked very new. It had a small wall mounted tv and tea (large variety of) and coffee making facilities. Fresh milk is provided along with... More
