Popped in for a quick pint. Excellent Covid precautions. Temperature checked on arrival, clearly marked out 1 way system and well spaced marked out tables. 1 in 1 out system on toilets with occupied / available sign on door. Very efficient table service. Felt very safe indeed and topped off with excellent Guinness! Will be back soon.

Not been here in 12 + months and very pleasantly surprised. Great food (recommend the lamb tagine) lovely atmosphere and all staff very friendly and attentive. Felt very COVID safe. Will definitely come back.

Not at all COVID safe apart from a one way system but when the larger parties have one or two too many they lose all regard for the rules. Did not feel that this venue is COVID safe. Food was, well mediocre, expensive for the quality we received. The service was to be fair ok, ticked all the basic boxes but there was no personal service, no one had any time for us as customers as all the focus was on the bigger tables, maybe they tip more. Won’t be returning.

Arguably one of the best steaks I’ve had for a long time. Perfectly cooked and not one ounce of fat. As tender as they come. Had many a steak in my time and that’s coming from me previously working in a 2 Michelin star restaurant amongst many others top restaurants in London. Very highly recommended. Pizzas come very highly recommended from the kids too 😂👍. Great hospitality from everyone here at the lodge 👍

....as we have been before and had a pleasant meal. This time however was not good. Waited 50 minutes for main courses to be served. In the meantime, we were regularly asked if we wanted more drinks whilst we waited. Eventually a fellow diner asked what was happening as he had been waiting longer than us. At that point the staff appeared to wake up to the fact that there was a problem and became extremely apologetic but still asking us if we wanted to buy more drinks! When the meals arrived, the gammon was cremated and the medium - well done steak was rare. The chips were ok. No sign of management and reason offered for the delay. Would I go again? Yes because everybody has a bad day but they need to learn how to deal with problems and be more "upfront".
