my husband and i had a lovely comfortable stay ,we also had a fantastic breakfast at toby carvery next door.could not fault anything.every one we met were so helpfull.the shopping facilties were very good and close by.
Once again travelodge were fantastic. Great price, happy friendly staff to check us in. Room was what you would expect for travelodge, clean, tidy ,spacious. Beds were very comfy. Bathroom was clean, soap, shower gel supplied. Shower was hot with great pressure. The night was quite and next door was a brilliant all you could eat bassist served from 7.30. Fantastic. We will be back again and again.
I have stayed here a few times and have found all the rooms to be okay. I had an issue with a noisy fan in one room and the lady on reception kindly found me another room. The showers aren't brilliant but they are okay. It's just close enough to the town centre and very handy for me. There are loads of shops and places to eat nearby. They have even provided a leaflet with a list of all the places nearby where you can eat. You can't go crazy and say it's 5 stars - it is what it is. A functional place to get your head down. It had better be okay as I am booked in there a few more times later on this month.
Stayed for one night. Road noise and noise from other guests not really a problem as I wore silicon ear plugs at night. Shower could have been hotter and the bed needed an extra blanket. That said I get cold at night where every I stay so I'm not blaming the room temperature just the lack of extra bedding.
